This is one of the main examples why Christianity is not a sexist religion. The Lord Himself spoke to the Samaritan woman, despite all social conventions of the time and made a Saint out of her. (men wouldn't directly address women back then, let alone a Jew talking to a Samaritan, let alone people talking to an unmarried woman living in sin) so Christ ,,broke" all the rules, knowing her heart and the love she would have for Him.

God's will in the lives of Saints
"Within all the saints existed the grace, work, and presence of the Holy Spirit, because they perfectly fulfilled the Word of God.
In fact, never do the Holy Scriptures, the Gospel of Christ, teach or urge us to something that means effort beyond human power of fulfillment, beyond the resources that any of us have available; on the contrary, everything we learn from the holy books seems an easy work to accomplish.
For we should not always, or more so, relate to material, earthly things, but it is absolutely necessary for salvation to concern ourselves with the only living entity of which man is composed, that is, the soul, with the provisions of good deeds for eternal life."
-Rev. Adrian Dobreanu

Anger, lust, and other soul instincts, if they cross certain boundaries, harm the health of the soul. If someone eats excessively, they harm the health of their body. The mind, if it contemplates more than it can endure, will become clouded and lose its intellectual capacity. The eye, if exposed to blinding light, loses its ability to see. The ear, if exposed to deafening noises, loses its auditory function. All of this shows where greed leads and how unnatural it is. -Saint John Chrysostom, The Problems of Life
