This is one of the scenes that I think the anime did better...

I laugh my ass off everytime this scene comes up and it satisfies my tism brain for some reason.

In the manga, there is some build up to it as shown in the anime but it just cuts to him yelling. While in the anime they actually show him getting up and then yelling which makes the outburst even more impactful.

Y'all I love Misa as much as the next person does, doesnt help i have huge empathy for her because she was manipulated and used by Light, but I would've crashed out like Aizawa ngl.

Everyone is stressed out because of the Kira case and shit so Misa was definitely the straw that broke the camels back in that moment.

Eleanor 'El' Ferguson

She is the daughter of Donald and her bio mom, who just so happened to be a superhero. Of course, this is way before Donald starts getting rebuilt, so she is biologically his. Unfortunately, her bio mom was very abusive towards Donald and not a good mom towards El. Donald separates from her bio mom, and they move to Chicago, where he starts working at the GDA. El develops her powers at about 14 years old, so she is pictured to be about 5-6 years old right here. Shortly after, they moved. Due to her powers, she unfortunately remembers every memory in detail if her bio mom is abusive to her dad as Donald took the brunt of it so El didn't have to experience any of it. Donald would do anything for Eleanor, though. She's got Donalds red brunette hair, freckles, brown eyes, light skin, and would eventually need glasses later in life like her dad.

Despite being only 5-6 years old she can fully understand what Cecil is saying and hates Cecil only cause she knows Cecil is her dad's boss and he keeps Donald was being at home. (Don't worry Cecil gives him decent hours so he can be at home whenever.) Donald does hire a nanny from the GDA to watch over Eleanor until she is old enough to go to school. Due to the abuse though, Eleanor is absolutely attached to the hip to her dad even when a teenager she often wants to be with her dad.

I would argue that Donald was the only character in invincible we see who hasn’t actually done anything wrong (except maybe atom eve but even then comic eve is a bit…)

Like the guy routinely sacrificed his life in order to protect his workers and do what he thought was best without knowing for years because he knew that he wouldn’t be able to continue to do it if he did. And even when he did find out bro just kept doing it bc he was so focussed on doing the greater good. Cecil is more controversial for obvious reasons but honestly even then as a person I would argue that he’s not amazing. If I was friends with the guy (big if tbh) I don’t think I would enjoy it in the slightest where’s Donald is such a cutie pie I would love to get coffee with him.
