I haven't really drawn anything recently and probably will continue not to for some time as finals draw near but just wanted to thank for the support on the previous post that somehow got 3x the traction of my previous largest post. ❤️ i will say that next artwork will likely be on nine sols but I haven't done much on it yet.

A small snippet of everything I've done for each day of Rain World's 2025 Art Month! I've personally had fun with this challenge and credits to @bewilderbark for providing a template! My personal top 5 and additional overall reflections below the cut if you feel like reading a lot!

I haven't drawn in months prior to March, so I originally undertook this opportunity to get back into drawing again. Rain world was one of the largest catalysts in why I even started to draw in the first place, and so this was also a slight personal endeavor. I managed to surprise myself with how much I could get done in a day, and was very inspiring and interesting to look back on art I made a year ago that would have originally probably taken me multiple days. I still don't really have a consistent artstyle yet lol but maybe someday. Anyways, below are my top 5 for this month! (with a bit of commentary) 1. Day 21 - Karma 4: Gluttony

This is my personal favorite out of all 31 and the one I believe to have spent the most time on. I loved the thought of gourmand representing gluttony as a byproduct of his role as a leader and the burdens that it carries with it. I wasn't initially going for a sort of mural aesthetic and I sort of stumbled onto it on accident but I still remember this one ever since making it.

2. Day 19 - Drainage System

This was the first artwork I've created for this art month that I felt extraordinarily proud of. I've never really drawn water or anything so the fact that i made this was imo pretty crazy. 3. Day 26 - Explosive Parry

Red and Black has always been a badass color duo and making a pattern out of it was fun to do. The background red also having small color variation was an end decision that I really liked, plus the karma 1 that fits with everything else. 4. Day 28 - RW 8th Anniversary

Although I'm definitely not the biggest fan due to the fact that it had much more potential but I wanted to finish it quicker. I still really like the overall composition of it and hey its the 8th anniversary, what's there not to appreciate?

5. Day 1 - Noodleflies (on the left)

The one that started it all, both in this art month and my art creation as a whole. This one took some reference on the first digital artwork I ever made on Rain World (on the right) which took me nearly 10 days before. Not my best work but something symbolic in a beautiful way. Day 31 - Leviathan chat what am i supposed to do

Wooo last day for me and everything was done on time (for the most part). I will later post a summary and reflection of this entire art month for me. It has truly been a fun personal challenge and a nice way to get back into drawing after months of inactivity from my end. Hope everyone participating also found this month helpful in some way :)

MASSIVE GINORMOUS HUGE WATCHER SPOILERS BELOW!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

After experiencing the watcher's endings, I thought it would be fun to add a little more spoil heavy version of this one while keeping it mostly the same.

Since I'm yapping, I just noticed that the main marketing artwork for the watcher crops out the rot at the bottom from presumably the original art on the right which was a cool ooooooohhhhhh.... moment.

I finished this one a lot later than usual because i usually never draw this many characters in a single canvas and i also had some outside busywork today. Even though this probably won't reach a lot of people, I just wanted to give my appreciation to the game, fans, and artists who unconsciously inspired me to start drawing over a year ago in the first place. I truly could have probably never entered this creative medium without the game nor the community. I could delve into my life story and why it means quite a bit to me but i'll keep it at this for now. Just happy 8th rw anniversary and watcher release i suppose :) have a good one.
