Exclusive: Discworld TTRPG in the works by studio behind Fallout wargames
Modiphius, the studio responsible for tabletop adaptations of Star Trek, Fallout, and more, is working on a Discworld TTRPG.
Having secured the rights to the beloved series with an agreement from the late author Sir Terry Pratchett's estate, Modiphius is already at work on a Discworld roleplaying game "around the city of Ankh-Morpork and the wider Disc." This will hit Kickstarter later in the year.

These are before he started putting himself and Addie (the doggo) into each one. I think my favorite is the one with the lavender fields but I'm also a big fan of the one with the stripey rocks =D

"Calculate your carbon footprint and use your yard to undo the damage you do ^_^" the term carbon footprint was invented by fossil fuel companies to shift the blame of climate change and environmental destruction from them onto people just trying to survive, stop falling for their propaganda

Autism as a concept has lived in the pathology paradigm from the very beginning. That’s about a hundred years of seeing Autistic people as “broken” and in need of fixing. It is officially diagnosed as a “disorder,” and the diagnostic criteria are full of pathologizing language. So for most of society, negative language and attitudes around autism are “normal.”
To someone in the medical or mental health field, pathologizing language is also “normal.” Same goes for people in education, particularly special education. It’s just how they talk about patients and students, they don’t mean anything by it, you HAVE to talk about a person’s deficits/symptoms in order to get them help. It’s just…normal.
But sometimes, when something negative is normalized enough, people can mistake it for being “neutral.” Which leads to people arguing that the word “disorder” is neutral, and that the actually neutral language of neurodiversity is “overly positive.”
That’s all incorrect, though. The word “disorder” is not and was never intended to be neutral. The language used to diagnose autism as a medical/mental health condition is not and never has been neutral. And “normalized” is not the same as “neutral.”
And so, here’s a handy dandy (and slightly snarky) graphic for anyone out there whose frame of reference could use some re-centering.
NOTE: Genuine questions are fine. Attempts to argue that pathologizing medical language is neutral OR that autism is a disorder are not. If you are uncomfortable in the realization that the language you’ve been using contributes to negative attitudes towards Autistic people, that’s a sign that you have some stuff to learn, not an invitation to get defensive in my comments section.
ALSO NOTE: Nowhere have I told anyone how to refer to or think of *themselves,* so don’t come at me with that one either.
ALSO ALSO NOTE: I don’t actually endorse anything in the “positive” column either. It is strictly to demonstrate that there is a difference between neutral and positive language, and all of it is meant tongue-in-cheek. Toxic positivity and supremacy don’t help anyone.

OK. I'm NOT an artist and barely qualified to comment but a couple of things really stood out with the panels here:
Shifting PoV and sightlines.. LOVED seeing Hob from Dream's eyeline... waaaayyyy down there.
Dream's tail starting to flag up when he's poking at the gift and gets intrigued.. like his body language is getting more and more detailed. *chef's kiss*
your mastery of understated line art to show and create movement, expression, and body language. Like Hob's working EXTRA hard to be all Relaxed and nonchalant here.. HOW do you do this?!

The one bizarre thing to me about textiles is that warp-weighted weaving is at least 6500 years old, but our oldest knitted artifacts are only ~1000 years old, and crochet 200 years old. Even though you need less equipment to knit (two sticks) or crochet (one hook) compared to warp-weighted weaving (frame, loom weights, batting, heddles). Why the big gaps between these inventions? And why did each one appear and spread when it did?

Hi hello Sandman fandom I have to render an apology bc I've seen this a couple of times now: Hob does not canonically have a pre-immortality knee injury. That was me! And I love that a bunch of people ran with it but it is absolutely not wrong to say otherwise or like, ~erasing disability~ not to include this. Hob Gadling is not canonically physically disabled.

i love that they have a ship that services a metro area of 2.4 million people & all of southern vancouver island, to depict the ferry to (checks notes) port townsend, wa, pop. 10,388. cannot overstate how incredibly funny the scale is. on a regular day that route has more passengers than the entire population of port townsend. like a title card saying our beloved characters had to take three trains and a regional bus line and then smash cutting to a red london double-decker
that being said. bc ferries both as a crown corporation and as individual vessels is DEFINITELY haunted so this tracks actually

Hey all, I have been trying to think of something I could do to help those suffering in Gaza, and have decided to raffle off some prints and custom art to raise money for relief organizations.
The charities I’ve chosen are HEAL Palestine (I’ve specifically linked their Mental Health fund, but donations to any of their funds are great): https://healpalestine.app.neoncrm.com/campaigns/gaza-mental-health-campaign
and Gaza Kinder Relief: https://inara.org/gkr/
If you donate any amount to either of these organizations, you’ll have a chance to win a print of your choice. One person will also receive a custom colored-pencil sketch. I don’t do custom art very often, so if you’ve been wishing for something specific done by me, this is a rare chance!
Reply to this post to tell me you’ve entered, and dm me a screenshot of your donation confirmation. I’ll be randomly choosing 5 people at the end of the month (May 1st) to receive the prints and 1 for the custom original!
