why would they care about your feelings genuinely. you don’t care about the feelings of other mentally ill people and they don’t care about yours— that’s not discrimination; that’s just logic. holding space for someone with no concept of solidarity is a waste of time and energy
not caring about the feelings of others isn’t limited to people with these disorders nor is it something that only applies to the mentally ill. a key thing to remember is that it also isn’t a choice, ableism is.
it does not justify being actively sanist and prejudice against people because of a symptom that some people with the disorder experience, somebody with autism might struggle to care for the feelings of others yet i doubt you’d hold that same attitude towards autism.
regardless of whether you ‘like’ (for lack of a better word) the symptoms of a disorder or not does not change the fact that actively demonising everybody with a specific condition is in fact discrimination.

What were your most painful and least painful piercings?
Also I mean this as a compliment and not flirting, but piercings are hot as fuck and automatically so are the people who have them (unless they're bigoted)
most painful: nipples. by far. my pain tolerance is pretty high so even tho i knew it would hurt because it’s a sensitive area, it shocked me just how bad it was.
least painful: nose piercings and ear piercings i barely felt.
you’re also right about the whole piercings make non-bigots hot thing. we’re all just organs sloshing around a skin suit, why not customise it?

people with NPD are still people.
people with ASPD are still people.
we aren’t evil monsters sworn to destroy humanity, stop treating people with mental illnesses like they’re something less than human.
it’s really that simple to understand.

i’m not one to make posts like this but i do appreciate the support i get from you guys even if i’m not a very outwardly ‘affectionate’ person.
i originally made this account a year ago when i was homeless, couch surfing and in a really bad mindset as a way of venting and coping with my diagnosis’. i didn’t think it would end up actually being something people paid any attention to.
the messages i get from people telling me my blog is a safe space for them and that i’ve helped them in some way is something i am grateful for.
thank you.

If you have aspd can you still care about ppl?
yes.
the way i view others will always differ from the way most people do and i have a harder time tolerating other people, but those i choose to have in my life i do care for in some way even if it doesn’t fit in with the social norm.

i forgot to mention on here but a few weeks ago i went to the Hunterian Museum in London and it was such a cool experience.
if any of you are ever in London and enjoy wet specimens, preserved organs, bones and body matter then i strongly recommend going. it’s also free to enter for what it’s worth.

can you give us some good cluster b (especially aspd) resources?
i strongly believe that the best way to gain actual information regarding a disorder that is heavily stigmatised and misrepresented, like ASPD, is to talk to people with the disorder about their experiences and ways that it affects them.
when it comes to disorders like ASPD and NPD especially, there are a lot of people who want to push the ableist idea of what these disorders are rather than psychological fact. this even extends to books, i’ve seen books about how to spot a narcissist/sociopath and how to get rid of a sociopath all portrayed as ‘non-fiction’ pieces about us being nothing but pests and burdens on the people in our lives. it’s better to just talk to people with these conditions about how it impacts them to have the disorder, if they’re willing for you to ask about it.
we’re all human underneath.
