My dad is notoriously hard to shop for, he has exactly 2 interests and doesn’t like when people spend money on things (even things he likes) 😭 so what is a poor girl to do for Father’s Day? Make him something of course! (And also get him his favorite caramels cause even though they’re kinda pricey he can’t say no to them)

So! I recreated the original Star Wars movie poster into a little book nook! I think it came out pretty cool

It’s made entirely out of cardboard, cardstock, acrylic paint and a whooole lotta glue ^_^ and I already had all the materials so all it cost was the printer ink

A little light in there would’ve been cool but I couldn’t figure out how to do it 🤷‍♀️ I think he liked it! Talked about rearranging his star wars books to put it on the shelf, then questioned why Han Solo is wielding a lightsaber lol

I love it so much 💜 first manga I ever read and still my favorite!

I’ve been working on a digital art piece, my dad needed to print something as a test and told me to draw something, I had about 12 days 😅 that is a short deadline for a 36” by 24” digital artwork by a non digital artist haha! I do digital some but not much, and only little things! Anyway my first thought for what I’d want as a giant poster was of course Fruits Basket 🐭 🍙 🐱 so here it is!! (I did add more details after it was printed though, oopsie)

He’s home!!! 😮‍💨 and it’s nothing too serious, he needs a special food now and some miralax everyday but he’s ok (a bit grumpy still cause he hates car rides)

My kitty is sick, he has a vet appointment tomorrow afternoon but waiting is really really hard with how worried I am 😣 and I hate the idea of him maybe having to stay there overnight

it’s probably not even that bad, I’m probably working myself up over nothing, but I love my animals more than anything and I’ve already been worried about him since we lost his brother last year, they were so close and he’s been less playful and more clingy ever since. Anyway this is just to say I might not post any art for a bit depending on how his appointment goes cause I can’t focus on making art while I’m this anxious

Made my final purchase there, it was so sad walking around the mostly empty space with all the fabric aisles roped off

I didn’t get much cause there wasn’t much there and they still had that annoying 2 yard minimum so the fabric prices weren’t even a savings… but here’s what I did find, the cupcake seam ripper is cute and I needed one so that was nice

I didn’t actually need a bag but I saw they had ones that said Joann and I wanted one just because 😔

I’m slightly late, but here’s my paint chip painting for March! A little bunny on a springy bridge :) I tried to make it look kinda like watercolor cause I’m not so good at painting landscapes but watercolor is a little more forgiving haha! But it is acrylic paint

I colored eggs! It’s fun, and our chickens work so hard to make us these eggs so I wanna make them pretty!

These ones are for my mom who doesn’t like food coloring so I use crayons

And some for my cats and dog!
