I don't understand why, when there is a poll going on, we should vote for the person we know/their idea.

My mother says it's to show support, especially if they are your relative, but I don't agree. If the task is "Vote for the one you like the most," then that's what I want to do. I won't choose something just because I know the person who has proposed it. If that is our mindset, then they should have just asked how many people know that person.

Like, I won't vote for the ice cream flavor that I don't like if there is one that is so so much better. I won't vote for a song that some students from my school composed, if there are songs that sound better.

I don't understand this mindset. Why would I do that? It says choose the best one. Why do we ignore that? What's the point?

I don't care who made it, I care how they made it. If we are talking about quality, then I want everyone to answer honestly.

If they ask me which idea I like more, then obviously I will pick the one I. Like. More.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Also, I have a tendency to longer peoples names. So I would probably be calling him Olivier from time to time.

My stupidest head canon is that Percy Weasley would absolutely kill at rhythm videogames or Tetris. Like world championships kind of skill. If presented with a formulaic and focus based activity, Percy will try again and again until he’s become an expert.

Also, when Oliver shows Percy Pokémon (because his muggle cousins have gotten a Gameboy, and Oliver thinks Percy will find it neat the same way he did television) Percy watches him play through it a bit. Two weeks later, after Percy has settled into a nightly routine of playing while relaxing, he gives Oliver back the Gameboy— and Percy Weasley has, in fact, caught them all.

Today, I wrote my physics exam, and when I came into the class and went to sit down, two guys that I somehow know both smiled at me as a hello, and it was so adorable and it made me feel better for the test.

I love people who smile as a hello.

thinking about hairo × nendou and how saiki can't read nendous mind... and hairo is so Energetic about Everyone and Everything (especially his friend and rival Nendou) that saiki just Does Not Notice when they start dating. Because Hairo's thought patterns Do Not Change. Maybe he thinks "hmmm, which gym would be best for a date" and saiki cringes because the gym is not a good place for a date what. And he genuinely picks up on NOTHING until after one trip to get ramen Hairo and Nendou kiss and saiki does the little glasses break thing with his face in shock because he's so taken off guard because he didn't know and he's not used to not knowing things. and nendou's like "what's wrong buddy? didn't you know im pansexual?" and saiki is rebooting as kaidou and and whoever else is with them panic like "SINCE WHEN ARE YOU TWO DATING???" and nendou's like "whoops we forgot to tell you guys. sorry" or something as saiki dies of shock.

why does everyone act like Percy Weasley and Richard Cameron are the absolute worst people ever?? like yeah okay they made mistakes, but so does literally everyone else. Percy was just trying to matter for once. he grew up in this huge chaotic family where he was never the funny one or the like edgy cool one and he finally got a chance at validation when he became prefect and head boy, so when someone finally took him seriously after Hogwarts, obviously he grabbed onto it. and yeah he was annoying and stuck up but he thought he was doing the right thing?? he wanted stability. control. that doesn’t make him evil.

and Richard Cameron. he was just terrified. like yes, he snitched. yes, it sucked. but he is a child like the rest. under all that pressure. just like the rest of them. some people fight, some people freeze. he froze. and that doesn’t make him some irredeemable villain, it makes valid and real

they aren’t heartless. they’re like basically scared boys who made bad choices. if we’re gonna hate them for that, then we might as well hate on half the freaking characters we love too
