What would happen if the mods switched jobs?

So this isn’t necessarily us switching jobs but more of a takeover on my part. Sorry about the sudden long hiatus, but I’m gonna do my best to update more regularly from here one out. Thanks for sticking around if you have. ~Sarinaamy out

So basically Bill is collecting people who are powerfull and have bad ends because...? I mean who am I kidding he dosen't need a reason to cause chaos but still

Wirt became the new Beast of the Unknown after blowing out the previous one’s lantern. Ever since, he started serving as the Unknown’s guardian as his predecessor should’ve done. Luckily, he managed to get Greg back home, but that still means Wirt is stuck in purgatory. Life as the new Beast isn’t exactly good, but it isn’t bad either. Wirt tries his best at his new job, and he’s not really evil. Wirt is still mostly Wirt in this one, just more matured due to the many, MANY years he spent in the Unknown. He’s also got Beatrice and her family for support.

However, things have been kind of downhill for him as of lately. Especially after that priest kid showed up to offer him a deal of sorts. What’s been happening is that people tend to scream in terror and run away from him more... as if their perception of him just changed overnight (which is exactly what happened). Wirt still doesn’t buy into Bipper’s offers, but it’s only a matter of time...

Are the bad end friends still desiring their objects of affection, such as Wendy, Beatrice, and Sarah?

Well, to answer your question, as well as putting it realistically...

Bipper is literally just Bill wearing Dipper’s body. He ain’t really Dipper, and this au takes place before episodes where Dipper and Wendy’s relationship is explored more. Bipper wouldn’t have any affection toward Wendy, but Dipper, who is still out there, probably would.

As for Beast Wirt towards Beatrice and Sarah, it’s hard to say. Wirt’s been in the Unknown for a pretty damn long time and he sure as hell ain’t the same person he was when he fell in that river with Greg. Not to mention, things have been kind of downhill for him ever since Bill’s... interference. Relationships, let alone crushes, would be difficult for a person like what Wirt has become.

BUUUUUT we’re not touching upon ships much on this blog. That may be as far as we’ll get into romantic stuff on this au.

So, the answer to that question is a borderline spoiler but there is one really large enemy of the BEF. An organization called HEAB or the Happily Ever After Brigade. It’s up to you to guess who’s in it though.

Mods, what characters would you add to bad end friends?

Sarinaamy- In terms of characters I wanna see? Well, I’m rather partial to the idea of Dark Lady from Sailor Moon

and Doll Aya from Mad Father

They’re both from fandoms I really enjoy and I feel like they’re both overlooked in this fandom… As in not being included :(

Grey: I would pick Mutant!Buddy, Sanitized!Agent 3, and Moon!Cassandra. They’re just really easy to fit into BEF.  

Sanitized!Agent 3- They are literally the penultimate boss of the Octo Expansion and were possessed by the final boss. And they are also the player character of the first Splatoon game. This character is so easy to fit into BEF, I’m surprised they didn’t get as much rep. That, and I just like Splatoon a lot. Their boss theme also slaps.

Moon!Cassandra- She may have been taking advice from a demon, but she still made a lot of deliberate bad decisions that are not easy to forgive. And it was over the course of a whole season; two if you count what was going on with her pre-betrayal and post-Zhan Tiri meeting. I’d like to see more BEF characters that had more hand in their own bad endings.  

Mutant!Buddy- Same reasons as Moon!Cassandra. However, I also find a mutated Buddy intruiging because she doesn’t become some evil genius or a broody villain. She just becomes a mindless monster. There’s not much of those in BEF, with the only others I know of being Corrupted!Steven and Mewberty!Star (the latter to a slightly lesser extent). Buddy will be a challenge to both write and draw, hence why I like her a lot.

In this AU, Bill was able to survive the memory wipe on Stan’s mind as per invoking the Axolotl. He wanted a do over, so he just picked an au where everything is exactly the same, with the only difference being very small and unnoticable. (Sort of like playing the same game on a different device, using a different cartridge, if that makes any sense).

So while starting over his plans with Gravity Falls, he gets to be more successful. Such as being able to keep Dipper’s body and opening the rift earlier.

Nowadays, he just screws around with the universes he’s taken over. Except now he has a physical body to roam around in and be able to do things with his own two hands. His hobby seems to be screwing over the protagonists of those universes and creating Bad Ends(tm) now.

We decided against using him though, since he’s not really established in the community. As far as versions go though, we decided to use Chad!Steven from fragments as our Bad End character.
