I do have a post about; "stupid" artfight questions(my post linked), but that was more about specific/niche questions about the event for those looking to join, but here's the quick gist;

"ArtFight" is a yearly event that takes place every in July, and it's all about making fanart!

the "goal" is mostly to have fun drawing new characters and showing the drawings off to the character's owner, but there's also a competitive nature to it~

there are two teams you can pick to "fight"(aka drawing fanart) on, each year having a different team/"theme" (eg the last two years being: vampires vs werewolves, and seafoam vs stardust)

the teams are because when you upload your fanart/"attack" to the site, it gains you points for your team!

each "attack" has to be submitted via the site, and have certain categories you need to fill out to account for how much time, effort/love, and general -things- your "attack" has.

[ basically -things- like: if you have a background and drew the full body of the character, you get more points than if you drew a half body with a single colour background ]

it's a lot of info, but I would love to answer any questions you have!

(this goes for anyone else reading too! I know taking in the whole explanation and FAQ wall on the ArtFight site(about page linked) can be.. a challenge to say the least. it is helpful! just.. a lot. but I know some questions feel "stupid" or "obvious". so as someone who's been through that, I can guarantee that I'll do my best to help!)

there's also an official ArtFight tumblr! -> @artfight where they try to answer questions, but do slow down/close the ask-box when it gets swarmed

One Person Can't Save The World

It’s impossible for one person to save the world. But a chain of people has a better chance.

One little thing can brighten someone’s day. A single thing can put someone in a good mood. When someone gets complimented on the street, it makes their day brighter. Brings their mood up for even a moment to be able to do the same. It’s impossible for one person to save the world. But two people is better than just one. When that person then compliments the next, having been in a good mood to do so, it brightens that third person's day too. Maybe they compliment another person, kicking off the chain to start something bigger than they thought. It’s impossible for one person to save the world. But three strangers have a better shot at it than most. At this point, the first person has probably lost their urge to compliment. Something bad is always there to bring their mood down. But the third person hasn’t forgotten the generosity of kindness just yet. Despite being down one, and there now only being two. It’s impossible for one person to save the world. But two people is still better than one. That third person has been put in such a good mood. So much so, they decided to donate to a charity to help the less fortunate. And so the cycle continues. But now, we have much more than merely two people. It’s impossible for one person to save the world. But a group might just pull it off. The first person has gotten home by now. They didn’t have work. They got laid off. And now the rent is by far past due. What can be done? Nothing. One person can never save the whole world. One person could never be strong enough. The next day, this first person, generous enough to give a compliment to a stranger, refuses to seek out help. But it seems that wasn’t an option. As a charity reaches out.. It’s impossible for one person to save the world. But an act of kindness goes much further than most would think.

Psyched to release the first batch of "ready to hang" prints, which are die-cut, thickened, water-protected and have either a hanger or magnets on the back, so you can just plop them anywhere without a frame ;u;

this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)

the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)

all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)
