It’s been a while...

Hello fellow Hathalowers! It’s been a while since I uploaded anything on this blog. In this 2 years that I was away some things have changed. For the first I have a boyfriend. Yup, it’s quite strange for a person like me, a quirky and goofy, to score a 10/10 boyfriend but here we are :D Since we’ve met in uni until now my Anne Hathaway fangirling lowered. Not because I wasn’t all of a sudden interested in her interviews or in the tabloid writings but more that I matured and realized I have to move on. Before finding this treasure of mine called David I somehow hoped I would meet Anne Hathaway. Somewhere I would have the interaction with her and we would end up together. I find it so strange now to even think about it, but part of me was hoping for that miracle (for years). Being demisexual is also the reason why I was attracted to Anne. Demisexual actually means you are attracted to anyone who you are close with no matter what gender they are. Now, to explain myself. I wasn’t close to Anne, I don’t even know her in person. All I know is the projection of Anne, the ‘Anne’ that Anne plays in Hollywood. Looking at her interviews and movies made me think that I knew her very well. My mind was tricked into thinking we have a close connection. I was connected to her while consuming the content but nothing more. Whenever I met someone I would compare them with Anne. It’s quite strange but I would try and find similar things they have (character wise) with Anne. The more they were similar the more likeable they were to me. And as I found a boyfriend I realized that I can’t live in a imaginary bubble. I admited everything to him, he knows how much I like her. He knows about that phase. I still look at her like a godess, because she is a one of a kind creature. But, I no longer wish to be with her and no longer hope for something unrealistic. Like, I knew she had her husband but still my hope was alive. However silly it may sound it was my everday reality. Watching her speak and smile was almost like a drug. Holding back from screaming while watching her act (watching her movies) was soo tempting. I now smile. When I see her movie I have a smirk. It’s like I wink at the screen. I could only compare it with summer romances. You have a summer romance with someone and they are no longer a big deal in your life. And then... you see them somewhere and you just wink at eachother and smile. Only you two remember the crazy times and It’s now all a history. The same thing happens when I look at her movies. I actually watch more movies of her than before. I think it’s the only fair thing to do. I no longer fangirl like a crazy person. But, I do appreaciate her time and her talent that’s why I rewatch some of her movies. I wanted to say that our love for idols doesn’t wanish with time. We get a bit older and wiser but that love still remains. It’s just changes it’s form, It’s more on the inside rather than the outside. We don’t express it with screaming and hiperventilating but more with a sincere smile and a tought. Thank you.

Update

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted something on this blog. Anne Hathaway is currently filming her Ocean 8 movie with other amazing actresses and she decided to take a break from social media...I totally support that because social media takes time. She was very active there, she was spreading peace and trying to encourage us to be better people, she was amazing but it takes time...And I totally understand her; I mean she is a mom now and she deserves a break :) I just wanted to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year   :) I know I’m really late but better late then never. :)
