20/345. Today drove my daughter to the mall. Had Hot Topic coupon and $5 account coupon she just had to spend it. She bought two TOP tee-shirts and got myself a Captain America pin. Just 39 days until the concert. It will be two times in seven months seeing these guys. It seems no matter where I take this child Starbucks must be visited. Could she possibly be addicted, that is a harsh word I guess. 19/346. Sam Kinison, this man, to me was a comedic genius. Some say he was harsh and politically incorrect, for me, hilarious. Too many people get upset over the simplest of things, hey it's just comedy, don't take it so seriously! That scream though, I laughed every time. A fun fact you may not know about him, he was a Pentecostal preacher. Could imagine that scream while preaching. Of all the different church styles I have experienced in my life, Pentecostal was my favorite. 17348. MTV. When it launched in 1980 many didn't think a station devoted to 3-4 minute music videos wouldn't last. Boy were they wrong. Many artists became huge because of the videos they placed on MTV. World premiere videos were seen by millions. Huge productions, with large budgets, and famous, respected directors. Bands would, at times, write songs with the video in mind. YouTube is kind of like MTV, but many bands don't take the time to do productions. They set up in a warehouse, drop some lights to give the appearance of art, and play their song. I personally love the big productions. By the way, seen these guys four times in my life. Have a cool Rob Halford story, will have to post it sometime. From color, to nationality, and between the sexes. What we constantly seem to lose sight of is we are all human beings. When God looks at us He doesn't see our financial status, He doesn't see the color of our skin, and He doesn't see our sexual orientation. He looks into the heart! I was taught as a child you use more muscles to frown than you do to smile. Scientists have proven it is more healthy to love and unhealthy to hate. 12/353. What I love about the moon is that it doesn't give off it's own light. Maybe it's weird, but when I see a full moon I start singing Ozzy. 11/354. They call it, training mentor, which is a funny way to say I train people in Hardlines and Presentation. In the 4 years I have been at Target, I have had a blast! Not really sure what happens next, but I am sure it happens in 2017. This is a gift bag I received today for being a mentor. It's my second Target mascot dog. This one has a lion suit on, and I felt it was fitting because I am trying hard to grow a heart of a lion myself. 9/356. A great number of people enjoy Florida weather this time of year. But as you can see from the picture on the right, we don't get much rain, and a lot of areas dry out. The two in the left picture are Muscovy Ducks. These two were crossing the street to get to water. This is what concerns me this time of year. Animals in need of water, must put their lives in danger to find it. 8/357. Video editing is one of my most favorite things to do. Doing it as a volunteer at my church blesses me. November 2012 is when I started. I used Final Cut then, cutting the beginning and end of service and dropping in every slide. Now we use Premier, and it so much easier. 7/358. Sunny Florida, that's what they call this state I live in. I have heard in Seattle it rains 80 % of the year. Would love to visit, but as for me, I gotta have the sun. This morning at 7am when I awoke, it was raining and 56degrees. Now, it's 48 degrees and I can see every star, the moon and that planet. 4/361. Florida soft shell turtle. These two guys come right up to shore when I am trying to feed the fish in the pond near where I live. I don't know if their shell changes based on where they live, but I saw this guy munching on some grass on the sidewalk too close to the highway. I chased him back into the brush. At this time, you can see the grass is brown, so does the shell change, this could be the same turtle I saw a few months ago in this very same spot. His shell was darker then. I may be weird, but I talked to him as I chased him back into the brush.
