What you think, say and do does matter! #bodyproud 💪💗👊 . Your thoughts create chemical messengers in your brain, and your body responds to them. If you think, “I am happy,” a chemical messenger then conveys that to your body and all of your trillions of cells. The same thing happens if you think “I am stressed out” or “I hate my body".. . . The solution? Practice positive self talk. Get in the habit of catching any talks and thoughts that dont feel good. Once caught, congratulate yourself and shift the words you were thinking. There is no reality. Only perception. What is real for me, is not necessarily real for you. My perception of your reality likely is not your reality. . My filters -- ie the results of my life lessons, traumas, upbringing and experiences -- help me understand things the way I do. And your filters help you understand things the way you do. That does not mean I'm right and you're not, or vice versa. It just means we need to communicate more. It also helps to be introspective so we can become aware of -- and ultimately delete -- the filters that no longer server us. . Some people call them “industrial seed oils”⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Olives and avocados are fruits, so they wouldn’t be considered a vegetable oil ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Many people will tell you to avoid them but not many people tell you why ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ The reason why these vegetable oils are bad is because in order to be extracted they have to heat them at extremely high temperatures. This leads to oxidation. By the time these oils arrive in stores they have already gone rancid ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ They have also been shown to deplete vitamin K2 from the body. Vitamin K2 helps decalcify the arteries. Therefore, consuming vegetable oils can increase risk of heart disease ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ What’s The Best Fats To Cook With? ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Saturated fat has been demonised a lot recently but saturated fat is actually the most stable form of fat ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ This is because the saturated fat molecule doesn’t contain any double bonds. This means it can be heated at very high temperatures without oxidising ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So the best fats to cook with would probably be lard, tallow and coconut oil ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Should you cook with olive oil? ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Olive oil is mostly monounsaturated fat which is fine to put on foods but is not good to cook with. This is because, unlike saturated fat it contains double bonds.
