From future teacher to homeless person 💔

My story and hope for survival😭

I am Israa Alwan I am 22 years old, a young woman who once had big dreams and was ready to achieve them. After years of hard work and study, I finally received my degree in Early Childhood Education. It was an indescribable joy, knowing I was about to start my journey as a teacher, to help shape young minds and walk alongside them in their first steps toward knowledge.

But my dream didn’t last. The war came and turned my life upside down. My home, which was once a safe haven, is now rubble, and I am left with only a few belongings and a shattered bag of dreams. Now, I am without a home, a job, or any sense of security. I move from place to place with my family, searching for a shelter to protect our children and the sick from the cold winter and the scorching summer.

My mom who has always been my strength and support, now bears the heavy responsibility of caring for our entire family, doing everything he can to protect us and provide us with the bare essentials, despite the harsh conditions😭😭😭

Today, I reach out to you, driven by a shared humanity, seeking your support to help us survive and find a way out of this life that was forced upon us.

I am the father of 2-year-old Mohammed from Gaza. Due to the intense shelling that has devastated our lives, we were forced to flee to the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Mohammed has suffered greatly because of this war. He underwent two surgeries: the first on his testicle after being injured by the shelling, and the second on his right ear, which was severely affected by the loud bombing sounds, causing swelling and insects entering the ear.

Now, Mohammed urgently needs a third surgery, but we lack the resources to cover the costs of treatment due to the dire conditions we are living in Gaza. I am pleading for help for Mohammed, who is still a young child and dreams of a life free from pain and suffering. I appeal to kind-hearted people to assist us in securing the treatment and surgery he needs to save his life.

Any help you provide will make a huge difference in easing our child's suffering and giving him a chance for recovery.

Its been at the very least two years of this war, more like two years since it has become wide spread knowledge. I say war when I know it's not. This is cruelty to the highest degree. It is unapologetic killing and evil against the innocent people of Palestine. And I know that anyone who sees this post has probably seen these same exact words before, but we can't forget the people still fighting to live in Gaza. It would be so easy to turn a blind eye, but we can't.

They deserve to live and be happy and see they're children smile in happiness. They deserve to go to school, and have jobs, and have freaking lives just like the rest of the human race. So, if you can spare even a little for any of the campaigns I've reblogged or that you've found on this app, please do it. Treat them how you'd want to be treated. Be kind in a world that is not.

I am Ahmed from Gaza, 26 years old. I stand before you as a person trying to support my family of 7: me, my father, my mother and my sisters, in our miserable circumstances, which we live in after the occupation launched the war on Gaza. We were displaced from our home and it was completely destroyed. We are now living in shelters. Due to the circumstances and low income, we are unable to provide the necessary benefits such as food and drink due to the crazy increase in prices. Thus, my source of livelihood has been destroyed, but it has been completely destroyed, as we are no longer entitled to work; and we expect to live in miserable conditions in the shelters. It is difficult for me to find the words to describe what we face every day in the shelters; without food, medicine or clean drinking water; with the oppression, helplessness, psychological pressures, doubts and daily shocks caused by everything around us and the inability to care for our loved ones. The fear of danger, disease and death never leaves us.

Now, I find myself in this difficult situation, and I humbly ask for your help to save the lives of my family, especially my father and mother, by getting us out of Gaza to Egypt and building a new life outside Gaza or helping us get money to buy the necessities that we may be able to afford. Asking for help is not easy, but we had no choice because we want to survive and strive to rebuild our shattered lives.
