Another update (expect these throughout June):

I'll be busy as Hell these upcoming months at my work! Kitten Season + a startling number of pet surrender intakes has led to our kennels being over capacity, and we are VERY SHORT STAFFED. New hires and plenty of volunteers are coming in but this means I will be gone and won't be posting much if at all (not too different from before tbh). Animals at the shelter are TOP PRIORITY and I rarely use social media as is besides keeping Discord up in the background

I will be joining Art Fight! Because of my busy schedule with how insane pet surrendering and adoptions have gotten, most of my attacks will be in traditional pencil drawings. Given the shitshow that is AI too I constantly go back and forth on what I want to do art wise and frankly, I really don't enjoy doing digital art--besides pixel art--at most, anyway. Plus what are AI scrapers gonna do, break into my house and fuck up a physical painting I learned how to make? Lmao

On one of my only off days (being Tuesday) I will be joining a Limbus Company themed ttrpg game! I made a Sinner based off of Tom Sawyer, her name's Tamsin and she's a pos lol; I will post my own sketches of her when I can! She will not be uploaded in time to Art Fight this year but I might drop screenshots of the character sheet for funsies (she's a Burn focused base ID lol)

Pride Month literally tomorrow! Or today if you live in the Eastern Hemisphere! Going to a drag queen ran luncheon in a city north of me next Sunday and I'm very excited to go!! Half of us at work are queer and my ass will be wearing my Dual Wielding bi pin like a fucking moron

Anyway that's all I wanted to share: I really am sorry that I promise a bunch of things and then don't deliver, it's not a matter of forgetting or lying so much as my adult life gets busy af and I am not someone who spends my online time on social media. Hell I HATE most platforms, Discord is tolerable because it's more privatised in some servers and I don't "need" to constantly check it. I'm not horrible at time management, I'm autistic but I can actually adapt to changing schedules pretty easily, but when my workplace gets busy, emergencies crop up at home, or I simply don't have time, I just can't be here y'know? Even considered closing my ask boxes entirely and removing my alt blog because I simply don't use them enough to really matter that much

I do genuinely appreciate the small number of you who stick to me like glue. Or a glue trap. Please get off my skin it burns.

EucliNA mockup is done!! Very excited to have gotten this finished, especially with Art Fight arriving very very soon >:))) it's basic but it works! This mockup really just serves to give other people a better idea of how EucliNA looks and how Euclid's palette fits into hers (granted it's just 4 colors lmao)

(I still haven't gotten the Sick Tricks achievement in Dream BBQ btw my ass can NOT platform jump)

Damn both of my blogs are 2 years old now lol Hello again!! Getting the Oblivion Remaster this weekend finally since I fucking LOVE Oblivion and have ever since I was a kid, but aside from that I'm making more ENA content, first things first the mockup of EucliNA that I promised a bit ago This is about the only time I'll use FireAlpaca tbh :') I just like its symmetry/line/select/transform tools they're ez to use. This is just a w.i.p. right now but it should be done very soon!! It'll be a palette + personalities ref for EucliNA that I can toss onto Art Fight and give to any other artists I commission, or just anyone interested in drawing EucliNA lol More fanart on the way, oc stuff too once I'm done practicing this pixel art tutorial on Stardew Valley style portraits :D

Hello ENA community :)))

After the Caravan Palace concert I caught wind of Dream BBQ's release and decided to play it for myself. Then I binge watched all of Joel G's animation. Suffice to say I'm hooked LMAO

I designed my own "ENAsona" off of one of my existing mascots, a funny shadowy fella named Euclid! Thus creating: EucliNA, aka M.C. ENA!

I did a deep dive on ENA personalities and tailored them unique to my character, even made notes on voiceclaims the personalities might sound like and how the faces emote/speak!

This is legitimately the most fun I've had with a character design in a while, and I hope to draw/commission a digital colour mockup in due time. If you don't know what ENA is, then go check out Dream BBQ and Joel G on YouTube!!!

Been away for a hot minute, and for good reason: I was preparing myself for my first ever Caravan Palace live concert, with Zayka as the opener and supporting artist!! It was a blast!! 🤖❤️

I went to the Chicago tour at the House of Blues with my sister this past weekend. Getting to see one of my favourite bands live is an incredible experience and I ABSOLUTELY will go to as many future concerts as I can!!

With this post of a random Hollow Knight oc of mine in a pixel-y format I ensure Silksong is NEVER coming out !! (his name is Xian, he's an Emperor of a faraway locust kingdom, say hi!)

Anyway still making pixels lol, keeping at it with these lil sprites! I keep forgetting to practice with dotpict as well as Aseprite tho because I redownloaded Pokemon GO a bit ago and have been having fun catching up with that. On the plus side: might make my own custom Pokemon sprites in the future maybe? We'll see! Doing one more fullbody before I focus on portraits and full sprite sheets for a bit, anything non fandom is going on the side blog like I said before. While I'm at it I'll probably sketch random things from time to time since I still do actually draw and not just with pixels lmao And ofc, the original 96x96 sprite for comparison:

Believe it or not this is a Dragon Quest oc lmao More pixel art practice! Made a Dragon Quest (IX specifically) fan character of mine, "Nekomana", a Demon class monster despite the cuddly appearance, best known for flinging fireballs at heroes! Took a bit longer on this one than I would've liked and it's certainly rough but that's why I gotta keep practicing simple as lol More random pixel art sprites soon! Sprite sheets too once I start learning how to make those. Any non-fandom/fan character stuff I make I'll post to @raveagainstthemachine (which I promise is not dead I just do not use social media for the life of me) And ofc, here's the original 96x96 sprite as well!

Back to pixel art practicing again!! FINALLY using Aseprite after so long and found a cool tutorial by Derek Yu on creating a basic sprite. Over time I'm gonna be referring to more tutorials and learning more things about pixel art since I really wanna focus on it exclusively So anyway, have a pixel Shovel (or was it Basket? Or Fork?) And here's the original sprite size: 96x96 pixels (she tiny!)

I've been way too busy the past two weeks to submit any art (and most of it is just doodles in a sketchbook anyway), but I got something a lil goofy to share probably this week. I've done nothing but get drunk and plan on doing little else but getting drunk for my birthday week. Look I'm 26 I can do what I want lol

Modded BG3 play through has been a blast too here are some scenes of my Shadar-kai tav dancing with Wyll because the dance scenes are precious

Went back and updated R0M4N slightly! Mostly changed his colours on the light fixtures; had forgotten Rozitals generally have pinkish-purple (maybe even red) lights and the green didn't really make sense. Figured I should also add some text so people have an idea of how he moves, how big he is, etc. lol He was very heavily inspired by the Sputnik 1 Satellite and, ofc, ED-E and other Eyebots from the Fallout series! As for what model of Rozital he's supposed to be...I generally couldn't tell you LOL. He's maybe got a bit of Proskopos in there with his main body, but otherwise he's wholly unique (and I really just wanted to lean into the Sputnik look for him too). Hope to draw more of him and some other VotV fan art and such in the future, especially an example of him flying! (And also I just thought the irony of a Rozital named "Roman" was funny, since they all generally have Greek names/titles more or less)
