Meet Business Bear! Business Bear is a Cloudy boss and paper airplanes is his business. This is serious business. You don’t wanna come between Business Bear and his business.

These are final battle sequence animations beautifully done by @ryansimmons.animation and set in a test environment. 

Business Bear was created and designed lovingly by @jjharrison​ and @venturetime​. Cloudy squares off against him early in the game. We love him and hope you do, too. 🐻❤️🎮

It’s Model Sheet Monday, so please allow us to introduce you to Dottie! She’s one of the main characters in the video game we’re developing called Cloudy. Dottie is Cloudy’s goofy, yet fiercely loyal best friend.

Hello, world! Welcome to the Braintreehouse dev blog! We’re a happy band of artists who formed a studio to make our own games. 

Our first video game, Cloudy, is a hand-drawn Metroidvania platformer about a brave little cloud’s quest to make friends with the creatures of the woods and rescue them from a wanton witch who uses her strange magic to corrupt the world around her. 

We’re deep in development on Cloudy and we plan to use our blog to share our process along with fun stuff like these Cloudy comics and behind-the-scenes art from our journey to make our dream game!
