Want to know what it’s like to work in a school right now?

Representation of my day …

"Sorry I can't sub during that time , I have to watch recess then go and cook lunch for the 5th grade before filling in for the nurse and the music teacher... hit me up after the board of Ed meeting, I'll be subbing for the superintendent"

Schools are important. Collaboration between guardians and teachers is important. You want to know what school is really like right now then talk to a teacher because every time you discredit these PROFESSIONALS everyone suffers.

If you think you can do a better job, a more effective job than people who willingly studied, practiced, grow in their profession, then do it! Volunteer, engage in conversation, work collaboratively! If you aren’t willing to do that , to have conversations and participate in what is happening in schools across the country, please save your opinions. We are educators, not servants so stop treating us like it.
