you did not know what came over you. maybe it was a burst of cuteness aggression, or a overwhelming sense of longing, but one moment you were both reading peacefully on his unfairly comfortable bed, and the next you were pouncing on him like some feral cat.

you whined as you kissed his forehead, his cheeks, his jaw, your heart exhilarating at the sound of his deep laugh running free. his hand abandoned the book he was reading to clutch at your waist, his crimson eyes closing as you peppered his entire face with insatiable little kisses.

his breath hitched as he felt your teeth chomping down on his cheek, and he couldn't help but burst out laughing at the hungry growling sound you imited.

your arms wrapped around him, snuggling into his jawline as you cooed. he could feel your adoration, how could he not when you held him so? his own arms tugged you closer, head tilting down to breath heavily on your shoulder, nose nuzzling to the side of your neck.

“i love you so much,” you kissed his cheek, cupping his face lovingly, so gently. he felt a shudder ran through his body, his neck tickling from your wandering touch.

crimson gaze hazy and full of adoration. messy silver hair and relaxed eyebrows. lips parted so temptingly and cheeks flushed like cherries.

“mine,” you breathed with certain clarity, your eyes devouring him in every sense of the world.

sylus felt like melting into a puddle. such mushy feelings should be considered illegal. it wasn't until you touched your forehead with his that he realised he was panting, staring at you with longing.

he hummed, deep but weakly, for the pain in his chest felt deliriously addictive. “yours,” he rasped out, holding you warmly and close. “i adore you, my beloved.”

and the kiss on his lips was soft and lingering, as if you could feel the tightness of his chest, as if you could physically see the love brewed between you and him.

abysswalker came home!

i just got abysswalker rafayel companion! it's the best 5-star loss i have, and i'm thankful because i'm a f2p! i'm so excited to start using him in combat. the phantasma sands guns look so cool i literally giggled, but what really disappointed me was the lack of combat outfit for our mc. i wanted to snap so many pictures, only to realise the outfit is locked behind a paywall. </3 either ways i'm still celebrating, even if xavier or caleb didn't came home!

reading 'world underneath' was such a big shock for me. while i knew josephine was a researcher in the facility we and caleb were held as little children, i never thought she was the actual team leader. more than that, i didn't know that she initially killed us the first time.

now she is feeling guilty that we are just a child. where was that sympathy at the first round? more importantly, why are you doing it a second time?

this makes me question... during the chronorift catastrophe, were we actually running away from them?

philonians being after us... ever being after us... people are so greedy. no wonder xavier and caleb are so protective.

i can't help but think that rafayel would be the perfect comfort when you appear stressed or quieter than usual.

he has no problem filling the silence, because he knows you genuinely listen to him. he sees it in your gaze, or the way your lips quirk up to show your amusement. he notices how your shoulders loosen up the more he talks and complains about his day, which he takes as a small achievement by doing a small victory dance in his head.

it would be when he sees your eyes drooping slightly that causes him to finish his monologue with his usual flair. "and that's how my day ended, not anything too eventful if you ask me. nothing important occured in fourteen hours, can you believe it?"

he was the most amazing cuddler. he would wrap his arms around you and just hold you, firmly and warmly. soft lips would touch your forehead and you would nuzzle further into his neck and jaw, breathing him in and relaxing. there was practically not space between you two, just your breaths mingling together as you fell asleep in each others embrace.

it's so mundane and it was beautiful in it's own way. no flowery words were exchanged, just honest thank you's and i love you's in the quiet of the night, where only the moon counted as your witness.

it’s totally fine that you don’t want mc haters to interact with your blog! I love her too…But I’m confused as to why you called the interaction toxic. If you and I were reading the same post, same comments, I mostly got the vibe that people were conversing civilly and bringing up points that were valid. Certain parts of MC just bother them and I think it’s a lot better to have that kind of conversation criticizing a game you play rather than the hostility I’ve seen against non-mc writers sometimes (not that you are one).

I agree it was a really negative post, but it wasn’t bad. People seemed to have found each others’ similar interests and decided to stay away from blogs they disagree with like your new warning.

I also hope we can have a non-toxic community but that includes being able to discuss these kinds of things without trying to shame anyone. Again, not that you are (By the way if we’re not talking about the same post then please just take me as a random observer giving their two cents! Don’t mind me! Thanks)

hello, welcome! i apologise if this is the first impression i made. i usually keep such opinions to myself because the fandom has enough discourses as it is, and i thought i didn't want to contribute more to the disagreements.

i think we were indeed reading the same post. i found it while i was searching for sylus x reader tag, and unfortunately it popped up first to the latest category.

there were many points of which i disagreed. it was a negative post that made me frown, and if you know the hate train that's been happening on the female characters of love and deepspace, at some point it gets tiring to see.

mc is you, you are mc. i understand if people think of her as a different entity (that's totally okay!), but at the same time you are the one who created her, and in creative spaces such as tumblr and ao3, you are also the one to appoint her with a personality type.

the game itself is a sci-fi fantasy romance otome game, it is not meant to be realistic. these men utter your name in the game (assuming you put your name/nickname in the player placeholder). by default, they are yours and you are theirs.

we get to become hunters, sorceresses, dragonesses, brides to the sea god, queens, princesses, metaloenergetic humans (i just made this word up idk), or have weird powers that attract trouble and causes us to get exiled by village nobodies.

the thing i absolutely found weird is how the men (xavier, rafayel, zayne, sylus, caleb) were praised above and beyond. how mc is called a mary sue for having them love her but no, the male characters are absolutely perfect in every single way. this is not specifically about the post either, it's how the fandom treats it's female characters and find nothing wrong about the reasons they give to hate a: character-insert who is meant to be the embodiment of yourself, your aunt-in-law, and even your coworker and best friend.

now the most common excuses of all: she doesn't treat the love interests right. she is not complex. she is too complex. she is a celestial being. she doesn't have a personality. she has too much personality.

on another note: i don't have anything against non-mc readers, i read them myself and i enjoy them as much as the next person. the only thing i don't like is how misogynistic terms such as pick-me comes out from girlies that i never expected to come.

so i guess the post was never meant for me, because i love the stories and how we were inserted into them. as for the "people were conversing civilly" i will let the comments of said post speak for themselves. "These good boys deserve so much better than a pretty-faced void."

i will not proceed any further, you are free to ask again if you want! i will of course reply as fast as i am able to. that was mainly for the exclusive non-mc consumers who view mc as a whole different entity and believe the love interests won't choose them and villainise the mc because of it.

i hope i didn't come off too strong. as a mc fan, and as someone who just hates disliking female characters (i have been in too many fanwars over sakura haruno, katara, korra, elena gilbert, bella swan, you name it), it got me bothered.

this is a lads! mc loving space. i'm just saying because i saw a really uncomfortable post with people hating her (like genuinely hating her) because they can't identify with her. i'm sorry guys but please don't expect this from me. for me, lads! mc is us in another universe, reincarnated, or whatever. i genuinely love her because i relate to her, especially since this is a sci-fi fantasy game.

i hope we can create a community where we love different traits, tropes, and li's together! i don't like this kind of negativity and hope we can manage to have a non-toxic environment, especially with all the current discourses that are going around right now.

i was raised in the platform of wattpad. the only thing that stops me from commenting is between me and god.

"i don't comment on ao3 because i don't wanna be annoying or weird" skill issue + you greatly underestimate the power dynamic here, writing multi paragraph comments is like feeding a bunch of deeply insane and possibly starved ducks at the park and watch them go completely mad over having received a piece of bread

so, i do not have any reactions or anything, but i do have some certain opinions about it. i don't think i'm ever going to play it, i actually deleted it. i thought i'd like it because it's reminiscent of genshin impact, but i found myself drifting off to indifference at certain points. i'm not sure why that is, i find the characters cool and the gameplay was nice along with the plot (first arc.) maybe it's just not my thing, the same happens with HSR though that was mainly because of the fighting/battle system.

i updated wuthering waves for the first time after it got released and i'm thinking of continuing playing it. i'll be posting my reactions to lore and such!

What is Rafayel's Myths Chronological Order?

So Lemurian Sea God (the newest one) is taking place AFTER the God of the Tides, but if that's the case then when does Sea Of Golden Sand happen? It can't be after, because we have already given the heart to Rafayel... and the seas have dried up? Also it doesn't make sense. Lemuria is on Earth, how did it go to Philos? Philos is a different planet right? --- so it's all the way up to the faraway future? And in our current timeline, we are 200 years before the discovery of Philos, right? That's where Xavier is from, and from what I understand (correct me hard if I'm wrong), only his Myths are remembered from the future.

Rafayel doesn't remember his lives with her, but rather the meeting they had when they were a little. (present time)

Zayne doesn't remember is lives with her, but rather when they grew up together at some point as childhood friends. (present time)

Sylus doesn't remember his lives with her, but rather the time they spend together within the battle rings, trying kill each other when they were just kids. (present time)

Caleb doesn't remember his lives with her, but rather when they survived together all the human experimentation in the laboratories. (present time)

On the other hand, Xavier remembers her as a... Queen? Jeremiah too? Along with the rest of Philonians (?) that migrated to Earth?

IM SO CONFUSED THIS IS FRYING ME. especially when it said that Philo's seas have dried up for 30k years like WHAT DO YOU MEAN???

You teach him a couple of phrases, nothing too difficult or hard to learn. You thought a "Kallimera" and "Kallinycta" (goodmorning + goodnight) was enough, but Rafayel?

Rafayel went from endearingly making fun of your accent to publicly calling you Asteri you, Psiche mou, to even Helie mou. (My star, my soul, my sun.)

Something in you always melted even more so than usual, the sound of your native language coming from his lips reducing you to a flustered state of gentle feelings.

He started drawing laurel leaves in his art, and raging storms in the paintings of the sea. The red within the waves now a sight of shared cultural grief.

You once asked him if he or his ancestors ever met Poseidon, but to your major disappointment, you learned that Lemuria only interacted with the sea-bound Ancient Hellenics in merchant trades, never personally.

You two have visited your hometown and every two days you went to the beach. Rafayel finds the waters too warm for his liking. He was used to swimming in the coldest parts of the sea, where the sun barely touched it's depth.

“Do you want to turn me into a fish soup?!”

He never saw you diving into the sea so comfortably before. You let your body float into the waters so lazily, you might as well been the most content cat in the world.

He guesses there's nothing more comforting than being in the waters of your own home.
