I feel like its ignored completely that vi grew up in total isolation. She had literally no one for almost half of her life in s1&2. And regularly was beaten during that time.

No wonder it broke her. No wonder she broke down when the first person to show her kindness in 7 years left her. And over a problem vi believed she caused. Because of a mistake she made when she was a child.

Hark: listen or attention

Pelleamena and Priamhark really sat down and named their hard-won genocidal spawn Behold The Horrors and nothing could possibly be more on brand for this book or really the ninth house as a whole
