sorry for the rant incoming, but i think I wanna talk about why im not on this blog so much anymore.

First of all, it’s not fun to be a Transformers fan anymore. At least to me.

Sometimes it feels so negative it makes me feel bad. Unless there’s something to jumpstart me back into this, I cannot bring myself to do anything. I’ve almost grown to hate my own AU because I can’t even continue writing without thinking I’m butchering and ruining everything. Anything I type, even just minor headcanons, I fear that I am ruining the characters. The weirdest thing is that it’s only in this fandom.

It might just be me being in a low point… it’s gotten worse that I’ve distanced myself from my tf discord servers and the number of people I talk transformers with has gone down…

but idk, as long as I feel much happier with the other blog I don’t feel like coming back here.

but hey it isn’t set in stone. I’ll always still be in the fandom, I may come back soon, and I still have transformers on my mind.

I just don’t think I have the motivation to really do anything here right now. I wanna come back, but I don’t think there’s anything for me to come back to at the moment.

I think this feeling I’ve been having is more than just being upset with this blog.

I wanted to do Blitzbee week and Mermay but I cannot bring myself to do it at this time (probably will skip it or be very late this year)

A friend and I were discussing what we're like when we're sick and we decided people usually fall into one of these five 'sick modes': *Everyone is probably multiple of these at different times depending on how sick they are and with what but we think most people have a mode they default to and become more often than the others*

Delicate Consumptive Victorian: you feel tragic and mournful but also beautiful in a sad way, you are in bed, sipping hot tea, others should quietly whisper about how you are too good for this world, too beautiful, too tragic... And bring you more tea

Sick Dog: you are curled up in a ball, you don't want anything, you don't need anything, but it would be nice if others could still ask you if you need anything

Sickly Child Emperor: you are dying and it's everyone else's problem, you need pillows, no! you need soup, no! You need absolute silence or you will not be the first one to die today

Plague Pit: you are curled up probably on the floor, no one touch you, no one look at you, this is between you and God and you already know He has no mercy left for you

Warrior General: you are not sick. You are in perfect health and you don't know why anyone would think otherwise. Illness is an enemy that can be intimidated and you must remain strong for your men! (You are going to pass out at the most inconvenient moment possible)

I love movies where the plot takes place in less than a day. It’s like. What if these people were experiencing the worst 8 hours of the entire lives and you got to see the highlight reel?

I’ve been playing Dead Rails recently cause I think it’s pretty cool, and I have a story for you.

It’s probably not the best one, but i think it’s funny

so it was a pretty normal game, just three of us traveling, and then one of us falls in battle during a pretty bad time in one of the towns. Since we didn’t have any bandages I decided to weld the player to the train until we could get bandages (luckily a base was up ahead so we got some and revived the player.)

then, at nighttime, while we were traveling, we were jumped by some zombies. I died during it because idiot me dropped my sword WHILE I WAS FIGHTING A ZOMBIE. When it was day time and all the zombies were gone the team decided also to keep me until we got bandages…

And I got welded to the front to the train, specially inside that grate triangle thing near the bottom of the train.

that was for five or more mins cause we couldn’t get any bandages until the next base. When I got them I spend one whole minute stuck under the train trying to get out.

then we walked all the way to sterling town (I think that’s the name) to go to the mines. With a sword and revolver, I was about to go into the mines when a werewolf came out and ran towards me. I shot at it, but I ran out of ammo. Then all of a sudden, I got THREE giant werewolves jumping my ahh, killing me, then returning to the mine like nothing.

This led me to take this photo while waiting for bandages

Anyways that was the best round I had ever played and I wish i could’ve stayed longer but I couldn’t because it was nighttime and I had to eeep.

I just thought about how differently Legolas acts in Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit Movies, and after a while of thinking about it, something started to form in my head. (warning: ramblings ahead)

Of course it could be chalked up to inconsistency between the trilogies, but what if, in LOTR, the reason Legolas was acting so cheerful was that he felt free from Mirkwood and able to wander (and also cause he liked being around Aragorn and the others)?

This is mostly building off of personal experience of when you feel uncomfortable, unhappy and pressured, you become more irritable and cold, but when you're out and free (bonus when its with people you can feel like yourself around), you feel much cheerier and happier.

Of course I could be wrong, I have a pretty fuzzy memory of the Hobbit (may reblog with a change when i rewatch the movies), but I believe it might make at least some sense.

If anyone has their own view on this, i'd love to hear it.

Ive been looking for a fic that i really love, but i cannot find it.

It was something like the diaries of Thorin Oakenshield of something like that.

It was basically the first... movie and a bit of the second one (i do not think it was finished), and it was basically Thorin just voicing his thoughts during the journey.

There was slight bagginshield in it (of course, it was Thorin's POV)

All i remember is that at once point Thorin is like

"Ugh, pebble in my boot"

Its one of my favorite fanfics. Could someone help me find it please?
