(i wrote this because i need kevaaron content, so yeah, it might be terrible and that's okay.)

Part 1

- Kevin hates the dark, right? All the time in the nest, in the dark, hurt, etc. So he sleeps with a night light.

- And when Aaron and Kevin start sleeping together (not just sex, but like relationship things), Aaron notices.

- Obviously he doesn’t point it out because he knows kevin would be self-conscious about it, but he tucks the information away for later.

- One day Aaron is in the bookstore buying a textbook for himself and a history book for Kevin.

- When he’s waiting in line at the cash he sees the little shelf of things every store has near the cash.

- And they have fairy lights.

- And Aaron’s mind goes straight to Kevin. He remembers seeing those lights in renee’s room and thinking how maybe on the bad nights when a single night light isn’t enough, it would help.

- So he buys them.

- And sets them up without Kevin knowing.

- When Kevin comes home from night practice, tired and worn out and ready to fall into bed with his boyfriend and sleep, he is not expecting it.

- And he cries, just a little, because Aaron did something for him. Something no-one else has ever done. Aaron knows Kevin. (and Aaron looks gorgeous under the lights, they make his hair golden, and his eyes sparkle, and it’s breathtaking)

- Aaron gently brushes away his tears, and slips his arms around kevin’s waist.

- They just stand there holding each other.

- And they are both happy and content (because these boys deserve the world)

A little bit of kevaaron angst, based after kevin graduates, he graduates first, right? I'm not sure, just read and enjoy I guess.

Don’t think about kevin waking-up for the first time after he graduates, alone in bed, with no one there to hold him as he cries. Don’t think of Kevin cursing himself for letting himself get attached when he knew he would have to be alone again. Don’t think of him being too afraid to call Aaron, even though he knows Aaron said it was okay. Because what if it’s not. Aaron shouldn’t have to deal with someone as broken as him. So don’t think of Kevin crying himself to sleep on nights where he wakes up shaking and alone in his apartment.

Don’t think of Aaron reaching across the bed for Kevin only to realise he’s not there. Don’t think of Aaron waiting for a call from Kevin that never comes. Don’t think of Aaron too scared to call Kevin because he thinks Kevin is too busy for him. Don’t think of Aaron slowly putting up his walls again. Don’t think of Aaron throwing all his time into school and working until he’s burnt-out. Because now that Kevin’s ‘gone’ he has no one to tell him to take a break and no reason to. No, don’t think of Aaron slowly losing his grip on the world because Kevin isn’t there to ground him.

Don’t think of how when the season finally has a break for christmas and Kevin goes to columbia for part of the break he doesn’t know whether or not he’s allowed to sleep in Aaron’s room or if he should just sleep on the couch. Don’t think of how Kevin chooses the couch and it breaks Aaron, because he was hoping Kevin would choose him. Don’t think about how the only reason their relationship is falling apart is because they’re both too scared of rejection. Don’t think of how even though they’ve been apart, their nightmares are still somehow synced and they end up in the kitchen at 3am. Don’t imagine Aaron seeing Kevin's shattered state and unshed tears and finally caving in and walking over to him. Don’t think of how Kevin opens his arms and Aaron just fits. Don’t think of how Aaron melts into him and whisper’s “I’m sorry” and “I miss you, I miss us”. Don’t think of Kevin holding Aaron tighter before whispering “I love you” into his hair. Don’t think of them finally retreating to Aaron’s room falling asleep with promises of better communication and a better tomorrow murmured against each other’s lips. Don’t think of how they’re finally together again and maybe, just maybe, things will be alright.

I might turn this into a legit fic, but I don't think I have the energy.

So you know how Nesta and Lucien were supposed to end up together? Thankfully they didnt. Like dont get me wrong, nesta will have a good character arc, but until then she is a bitch in my mind. She sent Frye into the woods and offered no help. And kw she blames feyre for her being high fae and won't talk to her despite everything feyre has ever done for her. At least elain is trying and was kind. Anyways, Lucien is loyal to a fault and he deserves the world. Nesta would take his heart and shatter it. At least elain is kind to him.
