How do you stop a zombie? A Dying Light coub competition.

Recently we held a competition together with Techland devoted to the game Dying Light. The mission was to show how you'd stop a zombie.

So, quite a few options have been suggested.

To begin with, choosing a suitable weapon is extremely important.

If Butch had found a golf club in the pawn shop, perhaps he would`ve taken it with him when going down the basement. As you can see below, it`s a powerful anti-zombie weapon.

A shotgun and a gas tank can also come in handy.

Another good way to deal massive damage is shooting from a carousel…

…or just spinning around like Rose Mcgowan.

To be honest, we were expecting someone to reference the good ol` chainsaw, but it never happened. A good substitute was found though.

And another classic anti-zombie weapon: the humble lawn mower.

You get the idea - good weapons can stop a zombie.

But weapons aren't the only thing that work. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

Or try appealing to the zombies' desire to dance.

If a zombie is happy and in love, why would it try to eat your brain?

Last but not least: you can use your killer record collection. This is our winning entry. So goddamn awesome.

Distance is a futuristic racing game with neon-lit visuals and a pulsing soundtrack. Important disclaimer: If while reading this feature you start acting like this parrot, don`t worry, it`s quite natural. Distance's soundtrack really is powerful stuff.

The developers term the game ‘survival racing’. Indeed, it`s not only about being the first to cross the finish line, but also about not being ripped to tiny pieces. Quite literally.

There are a lot of nefarious mechanisms designeded to destroy your vehicle — saws, force fields and deadly lazers. Good ol' slamming into a wall can also end your journey.

To overcome those dangers you`re equipped with some handy tools which allow you to ride on walls, ceilings…

...and even fly!

However if you want to beat the high score, you have to take your chances. Hit nitro and see if you can make it through all the obstacles in one piece.

Distance is available in Steam Early Access.

If the music had you bobbing your head, it's even more powerful when coupled with actually playing the game.
