Today is my birthday!

Happy birthday to me! I want to take today to thank all you guys who enjoy my writing and follow me on here! I've struggled with writing consistently for a long time but all the support makes me want to keep going and keep sharing my writing with you guys. Thank you all so much!

Logan wasn't called ‘The Wolverine’ for nothing. There were the obvious reasons: the sharp claws, the hair - Wade had called them “kitty ears” at the diner and Logan had slammed his head into the shitty plastic table top so hard it had splintered in three places.

His brutal fighting style and super senses. Sometimes his more animalistic traits took the forefront, the ones he allowed other people to see: running on all fours, growling, the never ending beast like rage.

But those weren't where the comparisons ended - just the ones everyone knew about. Logan took great care to shove the rest down, hidden away, too much for even him to stomach. The world liked (or at least tolerated) when he went into an animal frenzy, tearing bad guys down one by one with no effort.

Logan had a feeling they wouldn't be so understanding about the rest.

or, Logan gets feral when he's horny, him and Wade fuck in the Honda Odysessy, and now they both have to navigate the perils (and feelings) of living together afterwards.

Logan actually preferred everyone leaving them alone. Less people around meant less staring, less of a chance of anyone recognizing either of them - and less of a chance of anyone seeing the way Logan watched Wade, bathed in the blue light of the water, talking at a mile a minute while his fingers flew across the glass, eyes bright and alive and happy.

Logan couldn’t tell you the name of a single fucking fish in the building, but he memorized the way the movement of the water reflected onto Wade’s skin, the shape of his smile, the feel of his fingers tugging at Logan’s wrist to get his attention.

A feeling grew inside Logan’s chest, warm and startling, like a heat spreading across his heart. He scratched at his shirt, like he could dig the sensation out through his skin, but when that didn’t work, he pulled the thermos out of Wade’s backpack and took several long gulps.

Any Poolverine Fic Update? ☺️

Hi! Yes, I'm sorry sorry about the delay, I just finished moving and I got sick again and that has been a whole thing and a half but things are finally settling in so I've started really locking in!

I have literally like TWO more scenes to write and the chapter will be finished! I hope to have it up by either tonight or the end of tomorrow, I'm being very optimistic but I am manifesting!

Also soon after I post out this chapter I'm going to work on that smutty Poolverine one shot I was talking about and hopefully get that out soon as well! I hope you guys enjoy the new chapter once it drops!

good smut is really a character study and that is final. i need it to be about vulnerability i need it to be about trust or lack thereof and most of all i need it to be emotional agony. thats what sex is for

AO3 Comments are SO SO SOOOOOOO important because you can only leave Kudos ONCE. You add to the hit count ONCE (every 24 hours).

So whenever someone updates their fic, the ONLY way an author knows who their regular readers are is if they comment on each chapter. And we WANT to know who's still reading.

Believe it or not, some of us think about the name that pops up constantly in the comments and go "omg I can't wait to see what they think of THIS SPECIFIC SCENE cuz I KNOW they'll say something about it!!!"

I feel terrible for taking so long with this next chapter but I've spent the last few days moving to a new apartment and the last few weeks preparing for that and I've been working two jobs and I am so drained. “So Deadpool -” Logan raised an eyebrow, “-Wade told you I came by.”

“Nope.”

“He lied to you?”

Logan shrugged, throwing back the rest of his whiskey until the ice clinked against his teeth. “He does that.”

“Then how did you -”

“He came back into the apartment smelling like cheap cologne,” Logan said, sliding his glass back on the table. The bartender swung around a moment later, dropping two whiskeys unceremoniously on the table and clearing away the empty one.  Scott reached forward to grab one of the drinks, but Logan quickly pulled them both to his side of the table. Scott’s hand stopped midway across, fingers clenching into a fist.

“It’s not cheap.”

“Unless Xaiver suddenly started paying you guys more, it’s cheap.” Logan tapped a finger against the glass closest to him while watching Scott fume. “And that wasn’t the only time I’ve smelled it on him.”

"I didn't comment on a fic I liked because I don't think the author would care or remember my comment anyway". fanfic writer here, I still remember comments I got on my fics from seven years ago. I still think about them and they still make me smile. your kind comments are what motivates us and what helps us keep writing.

I personally know writers who take screenshot and print out comments they got from their readers.

TL;DR comments matter to us writers more than you think. if you like a fanfic, never be shy to let the author know ♡
