No, no really.

Rivendell elves are the vegan animal activists who usually gather every two Saturday night for their book club. They don’t drink and if they do they drink that exotic soda that their favorite fair trade shop imported from Guatemala.

Mirkwood elves are the hipsters who do Coen's movies marathons, play Cure covers with cellos and get drunk on walmart wine.(But they pretend is Pinot Noir)
