do you have any tips you use for posing your characters?

HMM one piece of advice I have is to pretend your characters are wobbly pieces of jelly. You’re the sculptor and you can stretch it and shake it however you want. STREEETCH that character don’t be afraid to go far past anatomically accurate poses (That is if realism isn’t what you’re going for)

If, say, I got a character raising their hand at a desk, push that hand all the way up high! Make the character lean hard against the desk! Or if a character is shouting at somebody, STREEETCH that jaw all the way down. POP THOSE BLOOD-SHOT EYES OUT, THIS CHARACTER IS PISSED👹👹 Want to have a character bawling their eyes out? MAKE THOSE TEARS POUR TO THE FLOOR THEIR SNOT IS GOING EVERYWHERE WAAAH 😭😭🫨

Or sometimes when I feel like it, I use the liquify tool in Procreate to make characters more “swirly” and dramatic lookin. I probably overuse the distort and liquify tools but hey if it’s there it’s there Imma use it. Don’t be afraid of exaggerating or making a character look a little ugly!
