First time dad ...

*Baby spits up on dad* 

Dad: Aw let me help you. *cleans baby, looks at hoodie, gags, panic ensues* Oh my god! I can’t even look at it! No really I need to get it off. I can’t do this. I think I need to just throw it away!

Me: *rolls eyes* Oh shut up. It’ll wash.

A Dude Gift with Love

I work in the front office and one of the shop guys comes in looking for wrapping paper. 

“Like gift wrapping paper?”

“Yes,” he says. He is covered in dirt and so is this mystery box he’s clutching. My coworker directs him to some paper large enough to wrap said box. 

Watching him wrap it was super amusing! 

We finally asked what it was for. He says it was another one of the guys in the shop’s birthday last week. I thought, ‘Oh. He was nice enough to get and wrap this guy a present.’ 

Not so much. 

He then goes, ‘I got him coal. No, it’s literally coal. I vac’ed it up today.” And walked away after marking it, ‘With love, DJ.’

First off, I am pregnant. Today I was sitting at my desk, munching on some chips. My boss walks by, eyeing my chips and begins to give me crap about how it’s not very healthy. So he takes them from me and shouts to the other girls, “Am I allowed to take these from her?” 

One of them shouts back, “Only if you replace it with a healthy alternative.”

And that’s exactly what he did. He walks out mumbling something about an apple or something. He comes back with a arm full of Graze healthy snack packs and dumps them in my desk drawer.
