Giving Up the Sea (GUS)
Free fall into the world
Kiss the air and float
In the ectoplasm of the clouds
I know you're never sure
And I want to assure you right now
Take my hand and fly
Fly with me into the blackened sky
  Don't let them restrict you
By giving up the sea
You're giving up the fight
Its time to find your friends
Its time to unite
To take their words in our hands
Remind yourself of smiles
In the excitement of the song
Left to you and your life
And I want to assure you right now
Take my hand and fly
Fly with me into the blackened sky
  Don't let them restricted you
By giving up the sea
You're giving up the fight
It's time yo find your friends
It's time to unite
And their hateful words may swirl
And plunge deep seaward
In the seahorses's time of war
In time it will feel ok
And j want to assure you right now.
Take my hand and fly
Fly with me into the blackened sky
  Don't let them restrict you
By giving up the sea
You're giving up the fight
Its time to find your friends
Its time to unite
  Take my hand and fly
Fly with me into the blackened sky

Monsters
Silhouettes at the start of the night Turn into shadows and monsters Whilst the evening continues  Shades of grey against the blue Before shadows and monsters  Turn into you
And the brightness of the world backs down And gives into the darkness and the moon And while our eyes are diverted by light We see the people kissing  Far too soon
Mutters of words and shouts in a different tongue Leave me alone Leave me stunned  By the beauty in the things unknown  By the beauty of you .
Don’t end your day too soon Continue through the night Find your calling
Strained in shrieks of laughter  Shrieks of pain  And the world will be… While again in the world of the monster

Oak
one oak gazes  upon the two silver trees,
an outsider, intertwining their branches and leaves
fixated, oak cannot move,
for fear that ripping up the earth would create a far bigger distraction
he pretends he is dead and with that he sighs
a rustle through his anatomy
