Jamie: I think I'm dating Roy.

Keeley: What?

Jamie: I'm not sure. It's just a possibility. I could be wrong.

Keeley: But how? When?

Jamie: Well, we spent the entirety of Ted and Trent’s wedding together and it was really nice and we had a really good time. We laughed a lot and we ate and then we danced.

Keeley: Danced? How? Was it a fast dance? Slow dance?

Jamie: It was a slow dance, a waltz. Roy can waltz.

Keeley: Roy can waltz?

Jamie: Roy can waltz. 😏

Keeley: …Look how you just said 'Roy can waltz.’

Jamie: What? I'm just saying, I'm surprised that Roy can waltz.

Keeley: That sounded more like 'I'm surprised I still have my clothes on.’

Six Sentence Sunday

Roy is unsure if Jamie ever really was his to begin with, but he can still remember fleeting moments where he thought maybe— just maybe he and Jamie had something.

It was in the way Jamie looked in the morning, sleeping so peacefully and looking so gorgeous as the rays of the early morning sun painted his tanned skin, his fluffy brown hair mussed from the pillow, and the smile on his lips when he would wake up and see Roy.

It was in the way Jamie would light up when he scored a goal, his smile maybe even brighter than the sun. When Jamie was on the pitch it was where he was just meant to be.

It was even in the way that Jamie cared and the way he would take care of him. He just knew how to fix it when that’s what Roy needed, but also knew exactly what made him tick, and how to make him just— feel.

guys!! i just rewatched this episode and when jamie sticks his tongue out and looks directly back at roy and roy looks so flustered!! like baby is seconds away from blushing because of him. this is the cutest thing ever!!

to clear things up, i absolutely do not think that trent stands by this at all lmao. he holds out for maybe a day but come on guys, trent is literally so whipped. he’ll avoid ted for a day and as soon as he comes home he jumps him and the crocs debacle is forgotten until ted brings it up again and how can trent say no to those big brown puppy dog eyes?? like he can’t. they’re so in love your honor.

Ted: I'm like, 🤏🏻 close to buying crocs.

Trent: And you're also 🤏🏻 close to never putting your dick inside me again.

Minor detail I absolutely love is that after Sam and Jamie make up after the Dubai Air protest, they’re constantly next to each other or grabbing onto each other.

Other fun moments:

Jamie snapping for Sam after he talks about his favorite romcom actress.

Mid-game high fives.

How dare you interrupt my best friend’s special haircut moment.

Sam putting himself in front of Jamie so he doesn’t get hit after picking a fight with the other team.

And, of course, my favorite:

Jamie waiting for Sam so they can leave practice together.

They’re best friends, your honor.

Also, I get the sense that Jamie hasn’t really had a lot of close friends so as soon as Sam forgives him and they become friends, he gets immediately clingy. He’s like this is MY best friend I DO need to be touching him at all times or making sure he knows I love him in some way.

Roy: A what? I'm sorry, I don't think I heard you correctly, run that one by me again. Reasonable? Adult? Functioning?

Jamie: *Ignoring him* —I understand logically that the different Froot Loop colours are just dyes, but I'm telling you, in my heart and in my mouth, they're different flavours.
