As a cosplayer I've accumulated a lot of beads, buttons, and bits of fabric over the years. Don't know why it took me so long to realize that dressing dolls is the perfect way to use those up—and you even get a cute little decoration when you're done.

With that in mind, I turned this Barbie Fashionista #209 into a little Silk Adorned Jamil. His face, nails, hand jewelry, and capelets were all painted with toothpicks. I also styled his hair, sewed/embroidered his clothes, and put together all his jewelry/accessories.

I didn't have to buy anything for this project except the Barbie itself and some thread which I would've needed eventually anyway. Definitely recommend this as a stash-busting hobby.

Happy birthday to Deuce! I actually started this a while ago but serendipitously finished it at the perfect time.

Deuce's base doll was modeled after a member of a very popular boy band (recognize him?) Next to Jamil, Deuce is (appropriately) a little shorter. He also has larger feet so he can actually stand up on his own--such a talented lad.

The queen has arrived. This one was relatively quick to make because Vil's outfit has far fewer tiny details compared to other TWST designs.

Years ago, I bought a little bell as a souvenir while in Paris. It feels very fitting that it's now decorating the staff of a Parisian.

This was probably the hardest doll to make yet because of the prop, the completely changed hair, and the bending of the right arm (which required an amputation and reattachment). But I wanted to use a Barbie I already had instead of buying one specifically for Rollo, so one does what one must.

Has everyone been having fun with the Harveston rerun? Coincidentally, I've been working on Epel's applepom outfit and just finished it.

This before pic shows the doll whose head I used--only mermaid Barbies seem to have lavender hair, so I actually took her head off and stuck it on a different body. I also modified the legs to ensure Epel would be shorter than everyone else. Gotta keep it accurate, right?

Wandering outside Ramshackle as always

Spent like half the day just smashing together a tileset for this and putting it all together >_< uhh I made the fence, the posts, the lanterns, the stairs, the outside of Ramshackle itself, the grass, and mildly edited the trees. Rest I combined from the tilesets given in RPG Maker!
