There’s something so interesting to me about the costume choices in the scene on carols ship after tarnax because obviously it’s important to see superhero’s when they’re off duty in just normal clothes but what I think is interesting is using what they are wearing as a representation of how open they are being and how much of themselves each character is willing to share because Carol is half in her suit half in her tank top, which could represent the themes of Carol dealing with being captain marvel vs just being Carol, Monica on the other hand doesn’t really have this costume or version of herself to hide in but she does have her SABER outfit somewhat open in a more casual way which could be representative of Monica being closed off and not wanting to share much of herself with Carol as she’s still hurt from the past but at the same time Carol KNOWS her she watched her grow up, and of course Kamala is fully open and cozy and fully willing to give her all and show her true colors to everyone because she’s so excited to be apart of this team this family.

… I could also just be saying things and this might be incomprehensible but idk I feel like there’s something to think about there :)
