Sam Wolfden Caveman Pictures
These drawings I had in my notebook for a while. In fact, this is the first collection of doodles on one page that’s not a comic that I made in a while since 2024. Really shows how hard I’ve been trying to pivot towards comic strips full time. This is Kaden’s dad Sam wearing furry gloves, boots, and undies. The thing that came to mind when drawing this is a caveman. I even made 2 doodles inspired by a piece of Captain Caveman promo art and Captain Caveman concept art for that Scoob movie. (I haven’t seen the film, but I feel like they pushed for too many characters too soon for one movie that was supposed to start a Hanna-Barbera Cinematic Universe.)
I also gave Sam this attire because I got an idea for a Kaden Caverns story revolving around him. The idea was that he’d disguise himself as a kid using a youth potion to sneak into Kaden’s friend group so he could spend more time with him. Because he’s been going out with his friends a lot. He turns himself into a rabbit and wears the furry garments with his disguise to better sell the fact that he’s different. He also wore a winged helmet which I hadn’t drawn yet. I also wanted him to lie that he’s the son of the Greek god Hermes. Gods exist in MythoRealms and Bacchus the bear is an extension of the real Dionysus’ will. So, an excuse like that isn’t too farfetched. If Percy Jackson can do half-bloods, so can I.
At some point when Sam’s about to turn back to normal, he leaves Kaden’s friend group and sneaks back into his home and bedroom. He hides the winged helmet somewhere before turning back to normal and his wife Lupauline comes in. She doesn’t know about his outing and mistakes Sam’s attire as a caveman which she believes is for later tonight, insert adult joke. Kaden might notice his dad still in his furry clothing without him noticing him. Kaden wouldn’t say anything because for all he knows, he could be cosplaying as a caveman. (The “caveman” clothing would be the joke that this episode would hinge on.) Things fly over Kaden’s head, and he has a history of being dumb or at least the most oblivious person in the world.

Kaden Caverns 2025-04-20
If I had 100 dollars for every time I go a week without posting anything, I'd be homeless as that wouldn't be enough to cover for housing nowadays. 😒
This one has Baxter of Kaden Caverns mopping up the local Wolfgang Caverns restaurant. He's been grinding hard before taking a well-deserved break. But Baylor comes in and ruins his progress with his sloppy honey handling. Maybe next time, Baylor will learn to eat honey responsibly.
I went with a comic strip involving mopping as every Friday, I mop my house and mopping is my least favorite chore of all time. I have to sweep everything first, clean the mop water halfway through, and make sure I get everything. Don't get me started on if my siblings aren't in school when I start mopping.
I won't be posting on Fur Affinity for a bit as that site's going through a bit of a shake up and is in read-only.

MythoRealm Musings 2025-05-03 (Of Giants and Kaiju)
I'm gonna deliver some musings and words of stuff from the MythoRealms (comic universe).
Giants and Kaiju exist, they're about as large as a skyscraper, some as massive as mountains. But the bottom line is that they're larger than the average species. Their sizes could be caused by radiation, atomic/nuclear energy (assuming it doesn't kill them first), magic, or genetic abnormalities and/or augmentations.
I had a concept about giants considered too dangerous to continue to be giants. If they do nothing but destroy stuff and cause harm to the normal sized people, they'll be put through a process to make them not as dangerous anymore. By shrinking them to the size of an average person or member of their species. Once shrunk, they can never be giants or kaiju again. They'll even be put onto a list of shrunken giants on a registry like criminals or sx offenders. (Being shrunken is not the same as being a sx offender you'd have to go onto two different lists for that, one for being shrunken and so on. At least being shrunken, you can start over and recover from it somewhat.)
Assuming a shrunken giant decided to have offspring, with a normal sized person or otherwise. They'd be either born normal sized or grow to be half-giant. Kinda like Hagrid from Harry Potter.
Say Godzilla exists in the MythoRealms and he gets successfully shrunken down, he'd still be dangerous to be around with the atomic breath and his strength. But he'd be nowhere near as bad as he would be if he were still huge. He'll still retain his nuclear breath and other characteristics, but he'll only be able to use a fraction of it because of his smaller size. Therefore, rendering him not as dangerous.
What if a giant or kaiju were falsely accused of a crime they didn't do and end up getting shrunken before proof of their innocence were presented? The company who shrunk them would be very sorry and unable to return them to their previous size as the shrinking process is only one way. Unless we have Pym Particle tech, there's just no way we can return them to their normal size. But they'll compensate by paying them and giving them benefits and housing as a way of saying sorry for shrinking you.
Come to think of it, Clifford the Big Red Dog if shrunken to a normal sized dog would be okay. But if Emily stops loving him, he'd shrink to about the size of an ant. Good luck not accidentally crushing him. The rest of his life would pretty much hinge on him being loved always. But at least no more buying thousands of dollars' worth of dog food every week or otherwise. How do they get the money to not only support themselves but also a kaiju-sized dog on top of that.
Assuming kaiju and giants have a population and reproduce, how would there be enough room for all of them? My idea is that a wizard, god, or entity capable of bending reality created a realm within Earth for most of the kaiju and giant population to live in. Some would stay in the main mortal realm on Earth, but the vast majority would go to this giant realm where everything is massive to compensate for their large sizes.
Would Kaiju/Giant wrestling exist? I don't see why not, giant monsters and kaiju go at each other's throats time and time again since probably the beginning of time. Survival of the fittest.
I have a list of Kaiju/Giant Monsters to work with. I got the list from scrolling through Reddit's Public Domain subreddit. There's one guy who posts clay sculptures of dinosaurs and giant monsters with the expressed purpose of releasing them into the public domain. MagazineExpert3098 of Reddit makes them, and he's been such a great help for filling up my list of public domain characters to work with.
I feel like I got everything inside of my head out. So, I'm gonna cut the post here. In conclusion, Godzilla would beat King Kong, he has atomic breath and a tough hide. With him, it's practically an open and shut case!

Charcoal Easter Card 2025
I created this rather quickly for the Easter weekend. I have Charcoal painted white with a basket or eggs and pink undies. You thought the underwear thing would only stick with Kaden Caverns. Any dignity Char has is all gone for the holiday.
Clawson's embarrassed.
This idea was ripped from a drawing of Richard from The Amazing World of Gumball being an Easter Bunny. https://www.deviantart.com/bailzzararco/art/RICHARD-915831282

Kaden Caverns Comic Strip 2025-04-13
Finally! Another comic strip! I made this one with Krita. It's the first comic that started production in Krita given the different panel set up and size as I was still new to Krita at the time. I made the backgrounds using a paint brush. It's not perfect but it's a start. Let's face it, the hate pineapple on pizza gets is a bit overblown. I ate pizza with pineapple a few times in my life and didn't find anything wrong with it. The dragon's design was modeled after Obasi from Spyro 1 as he appeared in the Reignited Trilogy and yes I played that and 100% completed Spyro 1. I just finished Spyro 2, I found that just as good if not better than the first.

I released the first 12 pages of my comic in sketch form! The first 12 page sketches are on my Patreon and Ko-fi for monthly supporters.
The first 8 pages of my comic once they're finished will be free to read so you can have a preview. But for every page I finish after the first 8, they'll be released on Patreon and Ko-fi.
It's only $3 a month for sketches, behind the scenes, and early access. (Assuming I don't immediately drop whatever I finish publicly before these sites because I'm behind on my release deadline for them.)
Your support will be highly appreciated and you'll have your name on my posts and whatever I make as a way of saying thanks. The support you'll give will help me make more comics and turn being a comic artist into a full-time job.
The first 6 pages in sketch form are free because I had them released publicly for a while to show what the comic would look like and that it was being made.
WARNING: I post more BTS content on Patreon because Ko-fi doesn't allow me to do as much as Patreon. (Ko-fi doesn't allow for direct audio file posting that isn't just a link to somewhere or to share project files like BTS pictures and audio for download.)

I went and saw The Day The Earth Blew Up and it was amazing! It had heart, it was fun, funny, and it felt like the first Looney Tunes movie that felt like actual Looney Tunes! Support 2D Animation and go see it if it’s playing in your local theater! I cried watching it, me crying at a movie in a positive way is the highest amount of praise I can give.

Your boy's on a roll! Pages 3 to 4 have their flat colors finished already! To be fair, I had the inking and a good chunk of the colors done for a while. Just needed the finishing touches. Once more, needs shading but I did it!

Finally! My first honest to god, finished, flat colors, comic page of Century of Sadness!
Is The Century of Sadness dead? Absolutely not! I finally finished doing the flat colors for pages 1 and 2. It's not 100% finished, I still need to add shading. But aside from that, I got it! Came out of hibernation to do this comic after gods know how long.
50 more pages to go! 6 free to view pages left to complete! The first 8 pages once done will be free to read and all completed pages beyond that will be available on Patreon and Ko-fi. (Now I'm sweating for the pages to come.)

Kaden Caverns: St Patrick's Day 2025
Finally, a new Kaden Caverns comic strip. This comic is also the first one to be made on Krita, a new drawing program I got on Steam. I had some figuring out to do before making these comics like how to make panels, how to do speech bubbles, and figuring out the pixels to millimeters ratio to adjust to the new program. Assuming things work out on Krita, I might pivot to this full time. As for Charcoal Rabbit Tales: The Century of Sadness. It will still be made on FireAlpaca as is. I know it’s taken a long time to make and no progress has been reported. But the script is finished, a few parts have been sketched and it will come out in the future. It’d be mad to throw all my progress away because I’m jumping ships. Here we see Dionysus after a crazy St. Patrick's Day party yesterday. A leprechaun is there. Baylor has been pinched with clothes clips for not wearing green. Was gonna add Weedon Wombat in the strip. But I didn't because I wanted to get it out today.

I’m happy that the show is pretty much over.
I might not be on good terms with it. But credit where credit is due: It lasted longer than Chowder or Harvey Beaks. (Greenblatt’s other shows) It brought HB cartoons back into the internet zeitgeist! (at least a little.) I wish CN and HB the best future!
I'm grateful for the show because if not for that, I'd probably never know about HB's other characters, obscure or otherwise. I think the show at the end of the day is a great thing. My not-so-good outlook on it might get a bit overblown but there's nothing wrong with you enjoying the show. I think Peter Potamus as he appears in the show is one of the few good things to come out of it for me. The show got things wrong but it got a few things right.
Who knows? Maybe we'll get more HB content after this (Word on the street is that an animated Flintstones origin movie could come in the future), or at least WB coughs up enough dignity to re-release past shows. Even the shows they buried. There might be hope for Cartoon Network yet!
For now, I'm celebrating the end of an era.

I know this is kind of a late post but follow me here.
Here's a little excerpt of how I write stuff. Comics or otherwise. I include images for reference, tangents with fun facts, opinions, and other things. I've even written a ranking of all 14 Star Trek movies in one outline. This is coming from an autistic person. I tend to compare and cross-reference something with another thing. Like cooking something, I'm reminded of SpongeBob. It's not uncommon for me to go off on tangents to talk about different things like my interests, history of X, why I write this way, backstory, or otherwise. I could turn a script for a detective comic into an essay about my favorite pizza at the drop of a hat. Even if the info is irrelevant to the comic itself.
My first and foremost goal as a writer and artist is to get whatever idea I get in my head out. My writing is my strong suit and my madness. It's easier for me to write than to draw. I probably write more than I draw at a certain point. I use pictures because sometimes I can't think of the right words to say and words can't describe what's in my brain.
I make my story outlines a numbered list because it'll be easy for me to know what scenes should be in what order and to get a general idea of how big it'd be. I highlight stuff used in the final cut green to show it's being used. I highlight red for stuff cut from the final cut for time, continuity, pacing, or just being unable to fit it in. Since I limit the number of pages and time for these episodes, I have to pick and choose what I want in them. Anything I don't do in one, I do in the other.
The pictures I include come from Google Images, Deviantart, cartoons, movies, tv shows, or otherwise.
I feel like I write like George Lucas writing stuff that sounds like gobbledygook. “I told George: ‘You can’t say that stuff. You can only type it.’ But I was wrong. It worked,”
- Harrison Ford (The Making of Star Wars by J.W Rinzler)
Speaking of Star Wars, it's also common for me to go back to previous scripts or words I've written not only to re-read them and play them in my head, but to add new reference images and edits after the fact where I see fit. Even if the script was finished for months, I might still somehow, someway shoehorn some change which probably wouldn't even matter other than to help previz the scenes in my head better. This only applies to scripts only and not to final art. I'm a comic artist, not a film director. Changing stuff after they're made is already a complicated and controversial topic as is.
I'm also well aware of Jellystone getting a Cartoon Network crossover with its new season. I understand it's a big deal for some given how Cartoon Network has been. But any good feelings I had for the show have long since gone. The only reason I still use screencaps of Jellystone in my writing is because they have some decent visuals that'd work for references and I at least want to put the fact that I watched the show at all to good use. I'm okay with Greenblatt's other shows (I enjoyed Chowder and Harvey Beaks), just not that ONE show. (Although there are a few times where I unknowingly written stuff that Jellystone did. Coincidentally sharing ideas with other people or things happens all the time with artists.) As much as I don't like something, it wouldn't be fair to not give credit where credit is due.
This screencap is a window into what I write for comics or otherwise.

Charcoal Rabbit Tales: Journal Entry 2025-02-01
This one is stylistically different from my other strips. I created this only in the form of a notebook sketch as my preferred aesthetic because I wanted to crank out a comic somehow and with as little effort as possible. I'm also a fan of the work of Don Hertzfeldt. I only half assed this because I wanted something to post. Don't expect more strips like this. This'll be the only one of its kind for the time being. I did say this was a slice of life strip, what better way to show that than with this. I have a proper Charcoal Strip in the works with a Valentine's Day Strip. Shocker, I'm finally making holiday art.
