sooooo i finished karamelle on my balance ( my second time finishing the world) and after 2 playthroughs, i’m honestly not that impressed. the story is really the saving grace of the world because its so unique and different from the other worlds, but it can be confusing sometimes. 

i think i had bigger expectations for the world, especially since it took a really long time for it to come out. it is really cool looking and has some interesting npcs/mobs, but overall it feels like a lot of the same things repeated. the only place that i thought was truly unique was the rock candy mountains and the von trap estate, but we barely spent time there. 

i’m glad that i was able to play and i think its a cool world, it just didn’t live up to my expectations i guess. i think its worth playing through though!

karamelle in a nutshell

so i finished karamelle on my ice and it only took me like 2 days.... overall it was a really interesting world, but it seems shorter than other more recent worlds (like empyrea and mirage). i’m still kinda confused about “the old one” and the ominous “i see nothing” from bartelby at the end of the quest line.

i’m gonna try and beat it again on my balance now!!

i’ve been playing through karamelle on my ice and its really easy so far, there’s only been one battle that’s been hard and that was in the mines against the golden gummy rabbit. but its a really beautiful world image wise and the story is pretty interesting, and the concept is actually one of my favorites for a new world in a while! overall, i’m enjoying it!

i also think the way they’re doing the new spells with the spellements to change them is really cool, it’s making me motivated to quest because i wanna upgrade the shatter horn spell. its different but smart, and i appreciate the subtle change that kingsisle made with the rollout of this world and the new spells.

again, i’m enjoying it so far and i’m glad i got my membership back so i could play!

so i’m back from school and i’m getting a 1 month membership for wizard101! i’m excited to try out the new world and see what additions kingsisle has made to the game!!! :)

so i got the new spells on my ice (shatterhorn), death (snack attack), balance(mockenspiel) and storm (sound of musicology). of them all, i like the storm one the best but i think they’re all really cheesy, i’ll use some of them because they’re useful but the animations are not great. i hope these aren’t the only karamelle spells we’re introduced to

so i went on my ice today to do the initial questing to get access to karamelle and i didn't realize you’d get a new spell so quickly?? i think that’s a really cool way of giving us a new spell, but honestly, the ice spell isn’t that great/cool looking. i still appreciate it though haha
