Let's all have a conversation you say What you mean is let's do things your way Let's change the world and shape it new While consulting none but your chosen few You take what is harmless and you give it a weapon Then you say it is dangerous, you'll change it you threaten You blame all your problems on a man, now a ghost And if we disagree then it's us that you roast This is not a big deal. . Congratulations, you've got it done You saw someone and stole their sun Did they deserve it? Who can say? But you don't care about that today. No you're just perfect, angel dear. Never made a mistake, so have no fear. You've never once done a single wrong Your life is a flawless happy song Or is it? What if I take a peek At the things you said to the teller last week? What if I ask an ex or two About their worst memories of you? What if I took your sins laid bare Showed them to the world and made them care? I think in that moment, you'd call me deranged Judging you by your past? But surely you've changed! After all, you were a kid, that was years ago You've dealt with it now, should we let you go? Have mercy on your pitiful hide? Spare you harm but to your pride? I think not, you forgot: the golden rule You expect mercy like a hapless fool Well where was yours with another on their knees? Did you listen when they cried out "please"? Did you perhaps think yourself better than they? That you decided their judgement in a single day? . Tolerance tolerance! He loudly cries With hate in his heart and daggers in his eyes. Love love! He stamps and screams But he doesn't know what that word means. There's something we all must understand If ever we are to have peace in this land The way you treat people shows your colours true Not what you believe they should think or should do! But they're different and they don't agree with your way! So you hate them and scorn them and force them to pay?
