Some Comments about Jessie Morrell's song "Two Of You"
"This music is exquisite. Thank you so much for having the courage to make yourself vulnerable, as artists do, and to share these intimate glimpses of beauty."
"Jess, why have you not been discovered as a musical genius yet, you are ahead of your time, ♥️ I could see a lot of your songs being used in movies."
"Stunning lyrics! Stunning music! What a great world we live in that a beautiful creation like this can pop up online! Thank you so much for sharing your art."
"I love how the chords go exactly as you expect and then change direction right at the last second to something much richer and more emotive. Lyrically very beautiful too. It's a lovely way to put the sentiment. A right bobby dazzler!"

Beautiful song from Jessie Morrell Music. I like the harmonies - e.g. the pedal notes in the bass, rising chords you've used for "-ly and watch", "me to go" and the yearning melody for the chorus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdPkFSfVrBU

Richard Strauss - Parergon zur Sinfonia Domestica Op. 73
Richard Georg Strauss (June 1864 – Sept 1949) was a leading German composer of the late Romantic and early modern eras.
He is known for his operas, which include Der Rosenkavalier and Salome; his lieder, especially his Four Last Songs; and his tone poems Death and Transfiguration, Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks, Also sprach Zarathustra, An Alpine Symphony, and other orchestral works, such as Metamorphosen. Strauss was also a prominent conductor throughout Germany and Austria.
Parergon zur Sinfonia Domestica, for piano, left hand & orchestra, Op. 73 (TrV 209a) (1925) dedicated to Paul Wittgenstein Peter Rösel, piano and the Staatskapelle Dresden conducted by Rudolf Kempe,
Description by Blair Johnston The Parergon on Symphonia Domestica (1924) is something of an oddity on several counts. Aside from the relative scarcity of piano music for the left hand, the work is unusual in that it is both an original composition unto itself and a kind of commentary on another of the composer's works.
Strauss composed the Parergon on commission from one-handed Austrian pianist Paul Wittgenstein, who was also the driving force behind such one-handed masterpieces as Ravel's Concerto for the Left Hand (1929 - 31) and Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 4 (1931) Strauss' Symphonia Domestica (1902 - 03) is a musical depiction of activities in and around the composer's household.
The Parergon is a kind of sequel to the Sinfonia that employs music from the original in an entirely new context.
