I work as a barista, and had a little family (mom, dad, son, daughter) come up to get coffee. This little girl can’t have been older than 10, and she’s already chatty. Gets excited when I let her ring the bell. And she’s talking and I look at her and go “you have such a cute little face! I love all your freckles!” She smiles, and goes “I love your makeup skills!” DOESN’T WAIT FOR ME TO RESPOND BEFORE SHE TURNS TO HER MOM AND SAYS “I’m not trying to insult you.”
