“Y-you’re too much for me.” You whisper, voice trembling as you stare down at the pavement, unable to meet his piercing blue gaze, “I’m not a nobody, but you… You’re someone who deserves more than me, there are people better than me wanting you, and I—” Your throat tightens, it felt like you were drowning; “I don’t deserve you.”

Gojo steps closer, his usually grinning stance gone, hands twitching as if he’s fighting the urge to pull you in.

“No one has ever made me do this.” He spoke with a soft, choked voice, small tears forming in his frozen eyes. He forced himself to find your touch, his fingers holding yours, desperate but gentle. “Please… trust me.”

Your heart clenches, but you know this is the right decision. For you and for him.

The world isn’t kind to people like you.

And Gojo Satoru is someone who was never meant to be seen with people like you.

Your mind is only filled with Gojo deserving better than you. So, you shake your head, stepping back ready to leave, his shattered look on his face carves a fresh wound into your heart.
