I've been taking drawing more seriously and I'm really seeing progress, minimal though it may be, but considering the disaster I was less than a month ago, it's noticeable (at least I can see it). When you really study and put what you learn into practice, without trying to do everything quickly, that's when you improve!

I still have a long way to go, but today's results make me happy and proud. I'm very excited to see how far I can go, and the idea of being able to draw my ideas exactly as I want fills me with ecstasy.

I believe that the fandom niche has a cycle of chaos, adaptation, and tranquility.

Chaos manifests itself with the arrival of younger generations who discover and interact with niches, trying to make the spaces adapt to them instead of the other way around, and trying to modify them according to their tastes. This increases the toxicity of fandoms in the process. Right now, with the rise of the far right/left, puritans, and so on, the new generations (here I am focusing on teenagers) come from many social networks that are full of that and, whether you like it or not, they influence them (either negatively or positively); On the other hand, many older people who may have been in the fandom world for longer, or the newcomers of 2020, well, they become just as impressionable and fall into all that, which leads them to be more intolerant.

Then comes the adaptation process, where they recognize how it works or they start to like it or become more tolerant of the different opinions that make up the fandom. This comes with experience in the fandom niche or with age. There are unfortunate ones who just can't adapt and have two choices: to be intolerant, immature, bitter people who spend their lives attacking anyone who doesn't want the same thing as them, or to distance themselves from the fandom.

In the end, tranquility of mind comes. Newcomers manage to adapt, find their select group within the fandom, or create new ones, but without wanting to invade the entire extensive and diverse fandom niche. That's when toxicity is balanced (it's not erased, because there's always some) and fandoms find momentary peace, until a new generation or a new boom comes along that wants to shake things up.

Right now, we are in the chaos phase, at least since 2020, because of the pandemic and TikTok, which introduced many normies to fandom and made them want to get involved, but nothing prepared them for what they found there. Then there's the younger generation, who are also entering the world of fandom and are currently figuring out what they like and don't like, as well as being quite intolerant and puritanical.

I want to believe that they will manage to adapt and peace will return to fandom, where the law of "if you don't like it, don't read it" will once again be THE LAW.

I humbly ask for help with plot ideas for a fictional manga that is relevant to the fanfic I am writing. Bokuto is the protagonist of that story and is revealing himself to the author (that's all I have), other than that, I can't decide whether to set it in a modern environment with magical powers...

Estoy escribiendo un fic skats donde Sakusa es de Hufflepuff y Atsumu es un slytherin perdidamente enamorado de él desde hace años y apenas en séptimo año decide hacer su movimiento (ya que escuchó rumores de que ushiwaka estaba cortejandolo y entró en desesperación de perder la mínima oportunidad que tiene de captar su atención). When you have to remind yourself to slow down in your story, because you want to get to a certain part with lightning speed, but start missing key details that are building to something big.

It's like wanting to finish building a house fast because you want to admire it, but then realize the brick laying is uneven and you forgot primer before the paint 😅
