Great article on comedy god Peter Cook, idolized by most of the comedians I idolize!

A very very early Lenny Bruce, on Steve Allen’s show from 1959. What a clean-cut bright young man he looks. ;-) Like all genius comedians, the lightning wit and huge intelligence is very apparent.

A strange start for this blog…but reasons. It’s not the furry comedian that I’m highlighting - it’s the green one. I grew up watching Kermit and always appreciated his often dry (for a frog) and sarcastic asides. Kermit wasn’t always aimed at children, so much. Don’t forget this is a frog that was interviewed on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson! I’m not sure whether he shaped my sense of humour or suited it, but I am a Kermit fan (and of course, dear dear departed Jim Henson, who had a wonderful and twisted sense of humour if ever there was one).
