“Working class voters have migrated to Republican candidates for reasons that are easily understood by anyone with a grip on reality. However, Democrats seem to have decided, particularly since their national debacle on Election Day last year, that racing to the ragged fringe of Woke lunacy is somehow preferable compared to a move to the moderate political center.”

“A stubborn insistence on propagating an alternate reality and a set of societal objectives that contradict the norms by which the vast majority of Americans choose to live their lives is desperately necessary in order to maintain the many scams that now dominate our country.”
(Just a reminder about what Trump and the Republicans are up against—every single day)

“With a sizable minority of Americans still obstinately convinced that Donald Trump won the Presidency through means that are both illegitimate and illegal—and who are, therefore, willing to oppose indictments against Democrats by any means necessary—we might soon find out whether Molotov cocktails can convince weary Americans that learning the truth about the machinations of Russiagate is simply not worth the price in terms of national protests and family fights.”

Colleges and universities allowing their buildings to deteriorate to this extent is a gigantic red flag that points to trouble ahead. We already know higher education is due for a shakeout. Perhaps it will be far worse than we imagine if they cannot even afford to plug the leaks in their roofs.

I wrote this just over eight years ago because I thought the legacy news media was losing its collective over “Russian collusion” that seemed more hot air than truth. Wait for facts? Nah! Just keep screeching like monkeys and publish insane rumors from anonymous sources. Even eight years ago this media circus smelled like BS. Let’s hope there are some handcuffs coming soon for those who concocted this treasonous hoax.

“Given the number of Americans who fail to understand that a hard day’s work is necessary to earn the comforts they crave, it is little wonder that the Socialist siren song of free stuff (which will be paid for by those who are doing a hard day’s work) has such a seductive allure in our nation today.”

Democrats are fighting harder than ever to keep giving more free stuff—to illegal immigrants. And they still wonder why so many working class Americans have switched to voting Republican….

“Imagined bravery (rather than the reality of a cowardly coverup) will be the narrative of Democrats who will certainly do all they can to shield Barack Obama from the consequences due a President who allegedly abused the power and prestige of government for political gain. Expect a lot of amnesia and plenty of lawyerly lies because honesty might make many Democrat brains explode.”

“If they keep on in this manner—the Democrats huffing and puffing and trying to blow down President Trump—the symbol of the Democratic Party might soon need to change from a donkey to a straitjacket. It is impossible to maintain this fever pitch of rage for long before average Americans will begin to start tuning out the overwrought rhetoric and getting on with their daily lives.”

“Somehow voters they thought they owned abandoned them, their cultural hegemony is seriously in doubt, and a man they roundly detest is now in the White House. It should not be a surprise that the comfortable smiles have turned into teeth-baring grimaces, and the knowing chuckles have mutated into obscene rants.”
(I wrote this commentary eight years ago, and I like to think it neatly explains why the vicious “class clowns” of the entertainment industry are increasingly being rejected by viewers and advertisers)

“ . . . as much as one might feel badly for young adults who suddenly discover their college coursework did not prepare them adequately, we must recognize that continuing to hand out Bachelor’s degrees to the incompetent does deep and lasting harm our entire nation—damage that continues to erode our prosperity, civic order, and national security on a daily basis.”

“This represents a new form of radicalisation that operates differently from its male counterpart. When ideology takes over female friendship groups, the process is less violent and more relational, driven by peer pressure, emotional reasoning, and fear of social exclusion. It thrives in spaces that appear safe and caring, but beneath the language of justice lies a brittle conformity.”

“It is an open question whether Democrats can ever find their way out of the ideological wilderness that turned so much of the electoral map Republican last year. Right now it feels like too much of their angry and vengeful energy is being expended to drive away anyone who ever salutes a flag, says a prayer, or comes home sweaty at the end of a workday—so it’s difficult to see how Democrats ever climb back into contention.”

Democrats’ efforts to seem just a little less crazy are fascinating—but likely futile. Their core constituency is not going to tolerate either common sense or compromise.

“Radical and dishonest self-interest is now the most salient characteristic of America’s elites throughout many levels of government, business, and education.”

“It appears that demanding Americans shut up and submit only makes them angry, and the result has been an ugly punch in the face for Liberals who thought grinding our nation under their heel was a winning strategy.”

You can now buy an Apple app that helps criminals break the law by evading immigration officers? What’s next? Apps that let burglars know when homeowners are away, alert car thieves when vehicles are left unlocked, or tell muggers when elderly people are walking alone in public? How is this kind of collusion in crime legal, and why are Apple executives not in handcuffs right now for their roles in helping others break the law?
