thinking about ghoap tattoo artist au🙂‍↕️

ghost who works as a tattoo artist in a little shop somewhere in a less popular area of the city. soap is a regular, always showing up for small tattoos when he has a few hours of free time.

on one occasion though, soap shows up wanting a large back piece inspired by ghost's sleeve. tells the artist whom he's befriended he wants to "match tattoos."

so, ghost complies. lays down the stencil before he gets to work on the piece. the room fills with the sound of a tattoo gun's buzzing and music playing off of a small radio in the corner of the room.

the quiet is comfortable—calm, and nowhere near awkward. soap shifts his head when ghost moves the tattoo gun away, his gaze landing on the blonde wiping up some ink. he reaches out thoughtlessly, his fingers gently pushing a stray strand of blonde away from the artist's eyes.

ghost sat still for a moment, slightly startled by the affectionate action. his whiskey brown eyes fell to the other man, who just grinned up at him.

"don't want ye fuckin' up yer line work 'cause of yer bloody mop o' hair."

"piss off," ghost chuckles, batting away the callused hand. "lay back down."

the scot obeyed, a smug little grin on his own lips as he settled back down. he supposed he could allow ghost peaceful work; for now, anyway.

So what if I suggested Ghost picking up habits to communicate while masked. Little movements that the 1-4-1 have learned.

This is an excuse to say Ghost has began slow blinking at Johnny, to everyone else, he looks unbothered, annoyed even. But Soap sees the way Ghost looks at him with big ol' doe eyes whenever he says something stupid and then the long blink.

Hi lovely!! So that person who tried to “correct” you.. was completely in the wrong.

For those who haven’t seen the post/are confused by what I mean— this lovely tumblr blog posted an opinion on the fact that you cannot be able to be a soldier & be punk/goth at the same time.. (for like an au concept) and that IS correct. The whole cultural significance and point behind the punk/goth community was to basically say “fuck the police/government.” Mind you.. government stems off to the military because they ARE government property.

Explanation:: By law they cannot just not be a soldier anymore. When you swear an oath— it is for life (unless you are honorably discharged or a complication arises). Your life is literally in their hands. When you swear to become a soldier— they tell you straight up that your life is no longer your own. They own you. Not in a weird sense.. but like literal sense. When you die they ask you where your body goes.

My grandfather was a marine and served in Vietnam. What he said was that “the military is automatically involved in the government.. because they are considered the last line of defense if a threat occurs within the government.” Plus it is just basic knowledge you can find on the internet/tv regardless(??) So for this person to try and tell you that you are wrong.. is completely beyond me.

Basically overall.. This tumblr blog was correct in their assessment. And it IS an opinion. Granted, you don’t have to like it— but don’t be a jerk about it when you ARE wrong. It’s just unseemly��� and frankly insulting.

Hope I cleared that up!! No offense meant<3 I just don’t appreciate people trying to act like they know everything— when they don’t. Research and educate before making baseless claims you know nothing about.

originally I had posted here an opinion on goth/punk aus of CoD. I originally stated that I think its a bit contradictive to made the 141 members especially goth/punk WHILE being ACTIVE in the military.

the whole point behind goth/punk cultures, as anon said, is to be against the government, consumerism, and conformity.

I had an anon in my asks (I deleted both the post about my opinion and the anon before screenshotting, im so sorry.) stating that I was uninformed on both goth and punk cultures because of my opinion.

I know goths (specifically 80s trad) and punks that have helped to keep me informed, and I constantly keep tabs on their accounts for more info on what I'm talking about.

and all I had originally said in the first place was that I thought the aus didn't make much sense to me if the CoD members were active in the military while being punk/goth, or went into the military AS goth/punk in these aus. I really dont have a problem with goth/punk CoD aus, as long as it's written in a way that stays consistent to the punk/goth cultures.

I mean no harm at all, it was just originally a minor ramble/rant post on my own opinions.

that being said, I would love to see more CoD aus of the members as goth/punk as long as they start the lifestyle AFTER dropping from the military, or if they never join in the first place. aus are supposed to be fun and interesting, and it's okay to change up a character just for fun, as long as it's nothing problematic : ))
