I went on a date and dressed more masc than usual just to clearly communicate the intention lol. Still got gendered correctly which I was nervous about. I'm not sure how ready I am but I'm trying my best to move forward with my life.

I started my CA trip with a 10 mile run, and despite 2 wrong turns and my shoe coming off and hitting a lady, it was a chill run. The lady forgave me. I broke the 10 miles back into 2 5 mile light jogs. I thought this clearing was pretty though so I decided to stop.

Did an 8 mile run this morning and I thought about a dream I had last night. I was arguing with some guy & my ex, and as things were escalating I closed my eyes and imagined ants marching under a blue sky full of clouds. While my eyes were closed I felt better like I had regained control of the fight, but when I opened my eyes I was all alone in a field under a blue sky full of clouds. I felt such relief as I realized that feeling of control in a conflict isn't actually something I enjoy. From now on I'm going to focus on doing the things that actually bring me peace rather than "winning" fights I don't want to have.

one of my buddies just succumbed to desire. he seriously just embraced earthly pleasures... the cost was not immediately apparent but will probably become known soon

A cute little isopod (I grew up calling them sow bugs but pill bugs are obviously a good common name for a pill-shaped being) meets a cute mushroom creature under the first bleeding heart flowers of spring!

I went to a coworker's celebration today even though I don't like him. We used to be friends so I felt like declining his invitation would kinda damper a big day for him. So instead I made myself uncomfortable for someone I don't really like anymore. It's like I've never heard of boundaries. I dressed like I didn't want anyone to recognize me tho, so that probably sent a message. (It didn't)

After 11 years I'm single for the first time since I was 16. It's been almost 10 months and I still don't know how to deal with all these overwhelming feelings I have, so I'm going to scream into the void of Tumblr and see if I feel better. I wonder if the void will scream back.
