I've been doing a lot of thinking about my family and how I was treated as a child, and honestly, my father has never seemed more amazing in my eyes.

I used to love Luigi(Mario's brother) when I was little. Like, he was my favorite character ever, and I had multiple plushies of him. Didn't give a fuck about Mario, vaguely tolerated Peach, but I loved Luigi.

On my first day of kindergarten, my dad gave me the number for his work phone and said it was Luigi's phone number. "If anything happens at school, call Luigi."And not even twenty minutes into my first day, I was having a panic attack. So I went down to the principal's office and called "Luigi."

Now, at the time, my father was in a meeting with his manager and his supervisor, along with most of his coworkers. And when I called, he picked up before he even left the room.

And he put on a very awful Italian accent and said, "Itsa me, Luigi! Whatsa the matter?"In front of his boss and coworkers. Without telling them what was going on. So they were absolutely bewildered, and he carried on like they didn't even exist. He only explained what was happening after I had calmed down and hung up, to which most of them responded with "Aww, cute."

I continued to call him whenever I got upset at school, and eventually his coworkers got in on it. I distinctly remember one of them impersonating Toad. I don't know why I'm telling you this, I just thought it might make you smile :)

ELLIOT IS NOT A BIG ASSHOLE!!!!!

He would literally NEVER put his hands on someone (maybe the killers (except C00lkidd))

His extreme rudeness and hatred for 007n7 is so dramatized for the sake of shock value. NO ELLIOT WOULD NOT PUNCH HIM, THREATEN HIM, OR NOT HEAL HIM.

Elliot still has basic human empathy. I think the only thing he really hates is having to stay stuck in a loop again again just to die most of the time and I think he acknowledges that everybody is stuck in the same loop.

The fandom also needs to stop babying 007n7. The guy is a grown ass man. He’s not some pathetic man baby. I get it I like pathetic men but ppl just overkill it sometimes. HE IS AN ADULT WITH A CHILD. Yes, him maturing is great charcter development but him just saying sorry to Elliot should not exempt him from any wrong. Him saying sorry does not mean Elliot has to forgive him or trust him.

ELLIOT HAS EVERY RIGHT TO BE COLD TO HIM. ELLIOT HAS EVERY RIGHT TO NOT FORGIVE HIM.

Elliot is not some evil guy who thrives off of 07’s pain.

HE IS PROBABLY THE KINDEST SURVIVOR IN THE GAME. HIS ABLITYS LITERALLY REFLECT HIS SELFLESSNESS.

HIS PASSIVE LITERALLY RELFECTS HIS WORRY FOR HIS OTHER TEAMATES.

THE PIZZA AND THE SIGNIFICANT DOWNGRADE WHEN HEALING OTHER ELLIOTS SIGNIFIES HOW MUCH HE WANTS TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE EVEN IF IT DOESNT TURN OUT WELL FOR HIMSELF.

Im not going on here to say that I hate 007n7. He is literally the best survivor in the game (gameplay wise and story wise.) However, I can still acknowledge that he has done bad things, horrible even. And even if he is trying to redeem himself. Him (and sometimes C00lkidd) still put Elliot and probably many other people through a lot of trauma. Stop victimizing this man like Elliot should just drop all the trauma caused and be buddy buddy with him.

You can make 007n7 angst without making Elliot some cruel dude who tells him off even if he dares to ask for a heal.

I’ve seen this portrayal of Elliot so many times especially in ao3 fics and like I said it’s mostly played up for shock value and in favor of 07.

Needless to say it’s just stupid and annoying because Elliot and 007n7’s relationship (platonic or romantic) HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL other than just Elliot being a big dickhead towards 07 and being like omg 07 is so sad!! My baby!! Elliot was so mean guys!!

You can make them both learn to trust eachother overtime.

You can have 07 and Elliot have a mature but angsty chat about it like full grown adults because THATS WHAT THEY ARE.

You can do so much yet people resort to this and I know it’s not a big of a deal but it’s so frustrating and annoying to see.
