The first rays of light since sunrise shone on a large, dense forest. Sunbeams danced across the faces of many still-awake forest dwellers as they made their way through the crowns of large and small trees. The snow left over from the recent winter was slowly melting and forming small lakes and rivers in its place. One of these short-lived streams flowed far into the forest. Gradually, it grew smaller and smaller until it reached a huge crevice close to the center of the forest. When the trickle reached it, there was practically nothing left of it but a single drop that fell inside like an endless darkness.
 splash
A small drop, very tiny, reached the bottom of the crevice and fell on a cluster of huge pink-purple crystals that radiated a faint, but" living"," breathing " glow. At that moment, these crystals completely faded, as if they had “died”, but it only seemed so from the outside, because inside, as if from a deep sleep, a new life, unfamiliar to this world, awoke.
That which had awakened did not yet understand itself. It was confused, in completely empty space, and without any awareness of its own, not yet fully formed body. The void surrounded it as it was staying still and falling at the same time. "What was that? Where am I? ", - these two questions constantly sounded in his head, not allowing them to focus on anything. As if wave after wave, thoughts came and began to beat against the walls of the newly formed mind But like a drop of water, one small question was able to stop all the waves of thoughts – "Where did that sound came from?". The sound of a drop falling still stuck in their head and, thanks to this, it gave the mind a goal - to understand where this sound came from, and the goal gave motivation to get out.
So, piece by piece, limb by limb, the body began to form. First the fingers and hands to select from the crystal womb, then the peculiar angular head, and finally the body and legs to complete the body.
The fully born creature was similar to a human, but it was entirely made of the pink-purple crystal from which it emerged. At the ends of his head, back, shoulders, and upper arms, crystals formed sharp and blunt spikes. Where the face should have been, there was a multi-faceted surface. There was no sign of the eyes, mouth, nose, or anything else that would normally be on a human head. His body was slender but angular, tall but hard-looking and athletic. It glowed with the same "living”, "breathing" light that the crystals that gave it birth had.
The crystal creature began to look around. It saw a dark, crystal-lit cavern, the only visible exit from which was an opening formed by a crevice. It was a fascinating sight, but the entity didn't want to stay long. They had a goal, and to achieve it, they needed to go up to the surface. It pondered and asked the question: “How do I get up there?”. It didn't come up with any ideas until they looked at itself and again at its surroundings. Crystals grew from the walls, floor, and basically every corner of the cave, and it itself consisted of the same crystal. They came up with an idea, simple but good. It placed both of its hands on the wall and tried to cling to it. At first, nothing worked, but creature quickly realized what the problem was - the fingers are not sharp enough. When it realized this, as if by a thought, its fingers, almost instantly, became sharp as claws. The same thing happened with the legs. With this, it was already possible to cling to the wall and start climbing it. Slowly, inch by inch, the light from the sun grew brighter and brighter as they climbed, until at last they reached the surface. The creature saw the trees that seemed to pierce the sky, felt the grass that blew in the wind, and heard the animals that lived in the forest.
They were getting up to find out what had woken them up, but found the world around them full of things they didn't know. It was an incredible sight for someone so recently born. All this was incredibly fascinating and so many questions formed from this view. But creature, again, didn't want to think about it yet. They started walking through the forest, looking at it as closely as possible. They were interested in everything that surrounded them: from flowers and bushes to hares and birds. But the latter, in turn, tried to avoid the creature, fearing it. They walked for a very long time, not knowing fatigue. The day was ending and dusk was falling. The creature at this time managed to enter a field located on a hill. As they climbed it, they got a much better view of the forest. From here, you could even see where the forest ended and the plains began, but the view of the crystal captured something more interesting: a tall, pointed tower made of stone, and a small but bright light that emitted smoke. This two things interested them the most, and they decided to go to them.
The original purpose was forgotten, but the new one emerged: “Explore the new founded world”.
