It sounds a little similar to the game (bungo stray dogs: tales of the lost).. with the floors and treasures.. I’m pretty sure there’s a mini game similar to that… Dazai would probably be doing anything other than work, in my opinion, so I guess you got that right. :D

   The way you said your oc was going insane about the treasure reminds me of Ace, but I won’t go into detail since I don’t want to spoil anything about that arc, in case you watch it.

guys i had a dream about bsd

so i saw my dad watching bsd (he doesnt watch it btw) but it wasnt even bsd??? First of all the mc was my oc 🤯 and she was walking down this path to this house but it kinda looked like a garage and inside was an elevator. There is supposed to be people you havento fight on each floor to acquire for treasure. But she immediately went on the first flooor and like jumpted to like the sixth or smth and saw the treasure and everyone was shocked bcz she needs some ability to do that so now shes kinda like on the wanted list and she goes down the elevator and blends in behind everyone else

then she runs to get on the bus and while shes on the bus she cant stop thinking abt the treasure so much that she goes insane (and meanwhile my dad is making comments like shes going insane 😱) and thats the end of the episode. After the episode like when you skip the ending song it shows dazai, who was supposed to be gaurding the first floor sleeping outside in the bushes

Then i asked mydad if i could watch bsd and he said yes

and also before this even happened like at the beginning of the dream i was talking to a dazai c.ai bot.

ᗢ Fukuzawa has about ten cats that come at this window every night. Please him help him take care of them. They are all well behaved and have names.

ᗢ He got a dog to meow once. Ranpo still talks about it, so expect to hear this story every time a dog comes near Fukuzawa.

ᗢ He was the one who introduced Yosano and Ranpo about M*A*S*H*. He watched it more than 3 times at this point, but he’ll be more than happy to watch it with you if you haven’t seen it; It only has 11 seasons anyway. He might fall asleep holding your hand though. (His favorite is Father Mulcahy and Ranpo’s is Radar)

ᗢ Fukuzawa got so used to giving head pats that he will without realizing give you one for anything you do.

🍭 Despite his lazy behavior, Ranpo is organized in a way. At first glance it may look like his stuff if a mess, but in actuality it is organized based on a random criteria he though of while he cleaned. It can be first letter of the main color if the object, number of zeros that the weight has in milligrams etc.

🍭He was the one to name most of “Fukuzawa’s” cats and they will sometimes come to his window too.

🍭 Ranpo has a lot of stuffed animals on his bed, half of his bed is filled with plushies. This man cannot sleep without clinging onto one or without the glow in the dark stars on his ceiling. (He denies it tho)

🍭 He is very warm and clingy. He loves to cuddle, but he’ll complain if you are colder, saying “It takes too long to reach a common temperature” and hugs you tighter.

ᗢ He asks Yosano for advice; it doesn’t matter. Presents? Yosano has to say they fit the occasion. A nice day in a park? Yosano makes Atsushi check the weather forecast. She saved dates.

ᗢ Atsushi would buy plushies as gifts. He started doing it after he saw how much joy they brought to Kyoka and they became his go-to gifts for everyone.

ᗢ Atsushi’s ability lets him turn into a tiger, tigers are felines, felines sleep for about 16 hours a day. Therefore, Atsushi too sleeps for 16 hours (and has a tiny kitty plushie he got from Kyoka <3)

ᗢ Atsushi once scratched you. It was an accident. It didn’t even hurt. But this chazuke loving boy cried for half an hour because he ‘hurt’ you.

ᗢ You once took him to the Zoo. He started rambling about chameleons. He just loves them. His love for them can be explained in two ways: 1. He wants to blend into the background like them, so that he can forget what he’s been through, so he can be like everyone. 2. They're just cool.

𓍯 Jokes that he would love to commit suicide with you, but I feel like he’d stop you say you’re uncomfortable… maybe brings you some flowers, to Yosano’s recommendation, he bought with the money he “borrowed” from Kunikida as an apology.

𓍯 Has a small crab plushie Atsushi and Kyoka gave him and used it to pinch your cheeks or places it on your head when he’s bored.

𓍯 Do NOT fall asleep near him, unless you want to be turn into a bandage mummy, because personal space is not a concep in Dazai’s vocabulary… at all….

𓍯 You cannot look at this man and tell me he wouldn’t blow in your ear to annoy you, Kunkida and/or Chuuya.

𓍯 Dazai may have on this goofy and careless personality, but the one time he was actually sad and brought to tears was when he told you about Oda. poor Oda

✎ Kunikida had a hamster as a kid. He started liking math because he would count the amount of seeds it ate every day.

✎ Kunikida on the note of his math teacher past, he gave Kenji math homework once, but had to explain it with cows.

✎ Kunikida gets mad if you aren’t organized, he’ll tidy up of course, but not without commenting and giving you sour looks.

✎ Once asked Yosano for advice on what to wear to a date and ended up with a wardrobe full of clothes. He’ll never do it again.

✎ Kunikida is almost blind without his glasses, he once tried to hug you without them and ended up hugging a door.

𓌏 Watches M*A*S*H* every chance she gets as a way to cope with her childhood. Please watch it with her. It’s an amazing show. The show screams Yosano. (I feel like her favorite would be Colonel Potter. He’s 100% the guy she would have wanted to work under. she cried during the last episode, not wanting the show she resonated so much with to end.)

𓌏 Yosano sleeps with her socks on and has an unholy big collection of them, most of them have Japanese sweets on them or random stuff she bought with Kyoka or Naomi.

𓌏 Drunkenly confessed what happened during the war once. She spat out everything. The pain drowned in liquor, everything now just a foggy memory of abuse and injustice. She took the hair pin off that day.

𓌏 Yosano took you shopping, Kyoka tags along, of course you had to pay for everything. And if you didn’t I’ll pay for Yosano and Kyoka happily . Before you know it it’s already late, the bag is full of random stuff, like scented candles and even more socks.

𓌏 Yosano reads romance. A lot of it. She became the ADA’s romance counselor. So you better be good at preparing dates or she’ll pout a little.

Shining ,as if made of crystals placed atop a round bed of white gold, Emu's eyes with an innocent glee glide all over her wrist. Near the energetic and ever laughing girl, laying on the carpet in a quite similar manner, you were wrapping what looked like the third bracelet around Emu's wrist.

"Hahaha!★ Y/N! Look look!~ They look like the members of Wonderlands x Showtime!♪"

You laughed and nod as in one singular jump the pink haired girl raises from the floor and snatches another small box of diversely colored beads she quickly puts in between the two of you. In a few swift moves Emu places on the string a few beads that wrote "WONDERHOY" in between two translucent pink stars. Grabbing your hand, as if to measure the amount of beads still need she asks in her omnipresent cheerful tone.

"Would you like some purple in it too? Or maybe green? Oh oh! How about some yellow?"

"How about some of each?"

Giggling under your breath you replied, staring in awe at the unpredictably rapid pace at which Emu already had added the colored gems. With a small knot to the elastic your bracelet was finished in record time.

"Thank you~"

Pleased that she made her beloved best friend smile, Emu, as if the world's worries had for one day withered away, leaned back with her arms up towards the ceiling, letting another long laugh escape her mouth. In her care-lacking lean she inevitably falls on her back, a small "ouch" is all she could chirp before something else followed quickly.

On the window sill, puffed up into a mochi like shape, a petite taupe bird rested. Fascination immediately drowns Emu's hearth as she rolled to you and gently pulled your sleeve, still flat on the floor.

"Y/N, do you think Mister Birdie is asleep?"

Before you could get the chance to speak your mind, the bird shifts with a melodic flap of its wings.

"Waaa♪~ Y/N! Do you think that Mister Birdie wants a bracelet too?★"

Hi-Hi!! Thank you for waiting, I swear I didn't get my head cut off and please enjoy part two!

Warnings!: a little long, mentions of death and murder, written on 3h of sleep

Feat!: detective/char Rui Kamishiro x writer gn!reader

You could notice the once warm air become cold. The breaths you took became sharp, almost impossible to inhale... The flowers' smell intensified.. it was sweet.. nauseatingly sweet. It made your head spin without stopping. What were you supposed to say? That you created that whole world and everything was just your imagination?! There must be another way.. right..? You closed your eyes... Trying to think of an excuse, but what could that excuse be?! You knew everything about the novel you were in.. you wrote it after all...

"I'm just.. good at reading people. That person is either the culprit in this case.. or at least feels guilty."

You clarified calmly.. even so your tone continued to betray a hint of uncertainty. Praying the detective boy will believe you, a small smile inhabiting your lips.

Rui's eyebrows furrow slightly, not really biting, yet he had no other choice. He stared you then sighed quietly and glanced at the victim's ghost, who just noded, agreeing to your last statement.

"Hmm... That is.. unexpected to say the least..."

The detective muttered, as his eyes subtily darted at the supposed criminal, to making sure he wasn't going to escape from the crime scene.

Even if you were believed.. why were you still nervous? Why did it feel like you couldn't exhail that honey sweet air? You mentained your eyes barely open as an attempt to collect your thoughts. As you pondered, Rui approaches the uneasy culprit. The soft gusts of wind murmured a tune only by them knew. The song intertwined itself with fragments of sun golden of colour. A melody as indescribably pleasant as they ears were more than blessed to have bestowed upon them, brought into existence by the orchestra of the everliving and forever ageless mother nature, could have stolen even the hearts of stone of many.

Who knew that fictional characters could do the same for their creators?— FOR THE SECOND TIME; PARDON?! It must be a mistake! Did Foxglove add the wrong part?! You must have felt warm because of.. uhh.. the beautiful scenery -which was written to your heart's desire, you created it after all-! Not because of some purple haired protagonist!... right..? Yet.. maybe.. just maybe.. no... It couldn't be.. that would be silly wouldn't it..? To feel that way towards a person made of pretty words and forgotten standards?

Before your thoughts could get the ability suffocate your mind once more in such a short time span, out of seemingly nowhere the silence was sliced.

"Such a shame that someone had to lose their life here... So many dreams that shattered..."

Declared the young man in a saddened voice, the situation not pleasing him, but can he be blamed? Who would be happy of someone's death? You remained drowned in silence, but slowly nod. After a while you attempt to add your contribution to the conversation, as if history repeated itself, the world felt foggy and unclear. The sapphire and cloudless sky began to melt into the trees. You desperately attempt to keep your eyes open, to keep Rui in your sight. But now, the detective ,who you last saw clearly while he walked towards the culprit to recite their rights, faded into the scenery. And the once gorgeous world of your novel turns into nothing but endless darkness. In this never ending void a thread of golden light pried your eyes open. Through the blinds the ray snaked it's way upon your unconscious face. Ah, how your heart aimlessly began to beg to go back. Glancing at the pages on which you have rested in a slumber with inexistent sound glazed, to the sky your eyebrows raise upon seeing your very own name get added to the action of the story. In an act still not fully conscious, you grabbed the pen, it's ink now dry and unevenly distributied. Shaky was your hand as to the page you selfishly added one more sentence, though incoherent with the actions previous to it in the story, made and inexplicable warmth fill your sleepy heart.... [Y/N] and Rui kissed.

•Hi-Hi!! This is my first time writing anything so I really hope you will like it... Please tell me what I can improve!!

Warnings!: long(?), slightly cliche at the beginning of the action, fluff, death (if you squint)

Feat.! : gn reader who likes to write mysteries x protagonist, detective Rui Kamishiro

Heavy droplets of cold water began to knock on the foggy bedroom window in such a melodic manner, that almost resembled a lullaby. The sky's original azure colour faded into Prussian blue as it fell asleep, covered by a blanket of grey clouds laced with lilly-white silver thread. The soft sound of a pen moving with a sleepy grace on a notebook. Smoky ink slowly sinks into the lined paper with ease, words appearing, the story's new chapter forming before your very eyes. The silence broke abruptly by a short yawn that escaped your lips. Weights began to attach to your eyelashes slowly forcing your eyes to close... No... You couldn't stop.. the idea filled your mind .. you must put it on paper... You must... The words began to grow foggy. Finally after struggling for a good minute.. maybe two... or.. you couldn't remember.. all that mattered was that you were now in a sound slumber, head resting on the half written pages.

Your eyes opened at an unhurried pace, a familiar sight greeting you. It wasn't a place you ever saw.. yet it felt so well known. It was the world of your novel after all— PARDON?! How did you get there?! Interesting... Maybe ask someone from your novel for information..? Ah yes there seemed to be a young man somewhere in front of you.. he looks polite enough so it shouldn't be a problem.. right? You raised yourself, wabbling slightly as your legs straightened and began to make your way to the person you saw. Hearing the sound of your footsteps, the guy turned towards you. His face made you stumble back, he wasn't ugly, goodness no. He was the protagonist.. Kamishiro Rui.. a young detective who has the ability to talk to ghosts. Rui tills his head as he looks at you, before questioning in a velvety voice that dripped with curiosity.

"Forgive me, but may I ask your name?"

"Y/N. My name is Y/N." You answered almost automatically, as you dusted your shoulders, a look of confusion painted on your face

"Y/N, huh? Interesting.. I'm Rui, Rui Kamishiro. It's a pleasure making your acquaintance, Y/N~" Rui smiled politely, putting a hand on his chin his hand tilting his head a little too the left. Before you get a chance to reply, your mouth opens, but the detective's voice spoke yet again, the undertone of curiosity still present deep down, but he was now more serious.

"I have a case to solve... So you're either gonna help me or not get in my way."

You nod slowly, before murmuring a quiet "I'll help..". You glanced around, looking at the scenery you came up with... The jewels of emerald sewed to the tree branches, dancing under the calm, whispered song of the wind. In-between the leaves, small wildlife played with sinless glee. Petite birds joining the gentle breeze's orchestra. Your eyes trailed to the grass, that rustled under your steps. You tried to take another step, but a set of hands grabbing your shoulders stopping you from moving.

"Stop right there. You were going to step on my dear crime scene, fufu~"

Rui said chuckling innocently, forcing you to turn around to face him, a cute little feline-like grin written all over his face

"Now, now, I'm going to do my job, hmmm... Let's see what we have here—"

"The culprit is that guy..."

you said pointing at a random bystander, who in all honesty seemed slightly nervous, fidgeting with a leaf. Rui looked at you confused by how you already knew the criminal. He stares at you with pure confusion, the detective blinks a few times and turns to some air.. the place where the victim's ghost was, most probably, staring back at Rui with the same confusion. Rui spoke again with a serious voice.

"Who are you, y/n...?"

•Can you tell this is slightly inspired by "The mentalist" & Poe's ability from bsd?
