quick update abt wine stained collar!!

hi all! i just wanted to let you know that i have been considering turning this fic into a longer, more extensive piece of work. im really nervous since ive never written a fic before but really want to see this fan fiction through, like until the END. idk yet. originally it was going to be a quick and small fic but i love slow burn tooo much.

He awkwardly shifted his weight back and forth, considering whether he truly wanted to ring the bell and alert Hannibal of his presence. Being here, and especially with wine, was bold."

Pre-Post S01E07 "Sorbet," the episode where Will randomly decides to bring Hannibal wine. I really enjoyed this scene and figured it would be cute if I added onto it. Hannibal and Will bond over wine.

you might see a pattern with my art, i like to seperate the sketch and final! most of my “sketches” are just the cleaned line work though. the way i draw is make a base sketch and erase guide lines as i draw (til its clean enough to be finished line art) its a habit lol

Will’s vs. Hannibal’s Ways of Expressing Love

The fact that Hannibal loves Will and is in love with him is openly stated in the show several times. Will’s feelings, on the other hand, are more ambiguous, which is why some viewers often doubt whether Hannibal’s love is reciprocated. I think that exploring the ways these two men experience and react to love can explain the varying degrees of their openness about it.

I’ll put TLDR right here: Hannibal is more open about himself and his feelings, including love, hence he doesn’t have many challenges with admitting it. Will is closed off, stiff, and emotionally repressed, so he expresses his feelings in a much more subtle way.
