I've finally started the process of updating a system agnostic zine I made last year called Blades of the Lunar Kingdom! It's a supplement for fantasy tabletop RPGs that outlines fantastical Chinese swords and provides historical information about the history of Chinese swords.

With this update, I'll be converting it to 5th edition D&D!

Why did it take me so long to return to Genshin Impact?!

I still can't believe that this game is f2p. The world, characters, story, and gameplay are awesome! Honestly, just give me a D&D campaign setting for this.

Thoughts on Creative Transparency at Wizards (re: Spelljammer)

Wizards just posted an update on how their internal processes changed after the entire Spelljammer disaster. What I found most interesting was that until now, inclusion reviews were not mandatory and were left to the discretion of the Product Lead.

I appreciate this step towards more transparency in their workflow. I also like that they acknowledged that they did not want to put additional emotional labour on their marginalized hires and plan on using consultants to spot any biases that even those team members may have. It's a small step forward and I hope they continue building on this.

Escaping Twitter? Building worlds on Tumblr?

Hell's Paradise Jigokuraku X D&D

I've read the first two volumes of Hell's Paradise Jigokuraku and am now fully convinced that this is the type of D&D campaign that I'd love to try with a small group. I love the dynamic of a criminal and agent of the court having to work together in an extremely hostile environment - both working towards a shared goal, but with their own selfish motives.

I think it might be a cool story to potentially tell using Heart: The City Beneath or even just D&D!

I guess this is my first tumble (is that what it's called?)? With the rapid, downward spiral on Twitter, I figure trying out this platform might be a good idea?

I'm an award winning podcaster and game designer based in Canada mostly known as the co-host of the Asians Represent Podcast and my contributions to products like Candlekeep Mysteries, Avatar Legends, and more!

I think that I want to use my Tumblr page to curate my work in the #TTRPG industry and as a space to just be excited about my hobbies! I think I might also write session reports for my home D&D game!
