A Secret Witches Guide to Concealing your craft
Tumblr media
Make sure practicing witchcraft in your home does not put you in any imminent danger!
Drink tea - A mundane thing, make it a daily thing in order to make people less suspicious. Say short incantations while stirring in your honey.
Keep a small plain notebook to use as your grimoire - Use this to write all your witchy ideas in.
Find a well concealed hiding place to put all of your witchy stuff - Put anything that you want to keep concealed in here.
Create a portable altar - One easy enough to take down and hide quickly. Draw an altar in your grimoire for a simple portable altar.
Meditate - Sit somewhere you won’t be disturbed and meditate. You don’t need any special supplies to meditate therefore, it is easy to hide.
Paint your nails to match your intent
Glamour your Clothes
Braid your hair while say an incantation
Trace sigils around your room - Use your fingers so they remain discreet and charge them with intent.
Glamour a piece of jewelry to wear daily
Keep plants and candles in your room - No one will draw conclusions if these are in your room.
Decorate a shoe box to dedicate to your practice - Put any witchy things you want if you are unable to find a place to hide your stuff.
Use knot magick when tying your shoes
Cleanse your room and home using intentions
Water your plants with growth spells - Speak to them while doing this in order to help them grow.
Do your casting in a discreet location outside - this way no one can interrupt you when you are in the middle of a ritual.
Use color magick when picking out what you want to wear
Use scented candles - Although lots of candles may raise suspicion, if they are scented they won’t draw much attention.
Write sigils in lotion - Cover your body in lotion sigils, in a couple minutes they will fade away and not be visible.
Stir counter clockwise - In your baking or your tea to banish negative energy.
Use playing cards instead of tarot cards
Go for hikes - A way to be with nature and not raise any suspicion.
Clean your room - This is the equivalence of cleansing your room.
May the moon light your path!

Ares
Greek god of war, battle-lust, violence, courage, and rage
Ares (Roman: Mars) is the son of Zeus and Hera, the King and Queen of Olympus. As the god of war, Ares represents its chaos and bloodshed, whereas Athena represents strategy and necessary wars only. Ares loves war for its own sake, and delights in the din and roar of battles, in the slaughter of men, and the destruction of towns. The destructive hand of this god was even believed to be active in the ravages made by plagues and epidemics. Due to his wrath, Ares was said to be hated by many of the other deities and was not much worshipped in Greece. Yet his Roman counterpart, Mars, was perhaps the Romans’ most beloved deity due to their focus on strength and conquest.
In ancient Greek art, he was depicted as either a mature, bearded warrior armed for battle, or as a nude, beardless youth with a helm and spear.
Myths: One myth describes Hallirhothios, an Athenian youth who rapes the daughter of Ares, Alkippe. Enraged, Ares goes after Hallirhothios and slaughters him. After this act, Ares is summoned to the court of the gods in Athens by Poseidon, but is acquitted since his action was just. Ever since, this place was named Areiopagos (Hill of Ares) in his honour. Another myth tells of the Amazon women, who Ares had fathered. He trained them in the arts of war and brought them up to be fearless warriors who lived in the outer-limits of the world. These fierce women were all led by queen Hippolyte, another Amazon, and they only allowed women to be among them, with all male infants being put to death.
In what is perhaps the most famous myth of Ares is the story of him and Aphrodite. The goddess of love and beauty had been reluctantly arranged to marry Hephaestus, the blacksmith god, since Zeus did not want anyone arguing over her. Yet not only was Aphrodite not attracted to Hephaestus, but she desired lovers rather than marriage. She was soon seduced by Ares and as they were love-making, the Sun god Helios saw them and left to go tell Hephaistos. Angry and bitter, Hephaistos crafted a chained net and captured the two lovers up inside it and all the Olympian gods came to see, some laughing at the sight. When Hephaistos was content with this revenge and decided he no longer wished to keep Aphrodite as his wife, he released them and they both quickly departed. The two deities are known to have had several children together, including Eros (infatuation/romance), Anteros, Phobos (terror), Deimos (fear), and Harmonia (harmony).
An additional myth which is based off of the Phoenician story of Ashtart (Astarte) and Adon, is Aphrodite and Adonis. This myth tells of how Aphrodite fell in love with the handsome youth named Adonis, whom she had helped raise as an infant. She bore him a daughter and was full of joy, but was keeping wary since she knew Ares would become furiously jealous. Ares one day took the form of a wild boar and gorged Adonis while he was hunting, causing him to die in Aphrodite’s arms as she wept. His blood mingled with her tears and became the anemone flower.
Appearance: A tall, muscular Greek warrior with tanned skin, dark brown eyes, and has short curled black hair. His demeaner is usually stern and he speaks in a deep voice.
Personality: Ares is pretty much always serious, and when calm, he basically feels like a dormant volcano. He is easily angered and does not hesitate to take vengeance when wronged. He is a god who primarily lives for the rush of battle and revels in powerful shows of strength. Although Ares can also help in teaching people how to develop personal strength, how to overcome oppressors and abusers, and how to overcome inner-struggles. Ares also is quite straightforward and blunt, whether it be to his enemies or when advising others. He teaches that in this world, you either have to learn how to be a warrior or you will be crushed by difficult situations or by those who oppose you. Confidence, resilience, courage, and assertiveness are all things he strongly values and teaches to those who seek strength. As for those who do harm to us, he says that we must stop being so forgiving as this is usually a dangerous and foolish mistake that will lead to even greater problems. Instead, our enemies must be defeated and put in their place, as this is the only way we can achieve any change towards the better.

Mermaid Dust!
Tumblr media
Hi people! Tonight i bring to you this little DIY for getting beautiful Mermaid Dust done!
💙Mermaid Dust correspondences are:
As is strongly related to water, is useful for emotions, relationships, healing, psychic abilities, exorcism and purification. It can be used for love, luck and protection too! Also, it works perfectly fine as an extra boost for any spell.
💙This is how you make it:
✨ You’ll need sugar (love, luck, healing, purification), mint (exorcism, protection, healing), eggshell powder (protection) and glitter on the color of your choice (for making it more “personal” to you. I use turquoise.) and crystals of your choice (optional)
~I recommend aquamarine, sodalite, emerald, citrine, pink quartz, amethyst, green quartz, tourmaline, hematite and/or clear quartz.
✨The amount of each thing i use is approximately the following, but you can use as much as you want and give it your own texture!
~¾ Sugar.
~2/4 Eggshell powder.
~2/4 Mint.
~¼ Glitter.
Tumblr media
✨Then, put it all together and stir to mix it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
✨Once that you have something like this, put it on a jar or any type of container that you prefer, and use some crystals to charge it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
✨Here i’m using two pieces of aquamarine, one sodalite, two tourmaline, one pink quartz and one citrine.
Tumblr media
✨Now, here comes something important. I leave it for a whole lunar cycle, from full moon ‘till the next one (or you can do it from the very start of the cycle, on new moon, ‘till the next new moon, choose based on your correspondences of which type of moon energy you want the dust to keep), on a closed wooden box with amethyst and clear quartz, so it can be properly charged. Another good idea is that, on a full moon night, you leave it outside surrounded by the gems you want it to be charged with.
✨At the end of the cycle, you can say a little chant of your choice when taking the dust out of the box or taking it inside home again or out of the windowsill… you understand my point lol.
💙Extra: As this is not safe to eat. If you want to make some eatable mermaid dust, i recommend using colored sugar (you can easily make it with white sugar and food colorant). Put it in some container, then put that inside your container with mermaid dust or surround your sugar container with a circle of mermaid dust (be careful not to mix it!) and leave it for a night, preferably on full moon. Next day you’ll have some dealicious mermaid sugar/dust for any healing spell, love spell, or any type you want to do!
You can make as much as you want of this, and is useful for almost everything! i really like it ♥
Well, hope you enjoyed this DIY!!!♥

Heyo! Sorry but the Google docs you had linked about cleansing, grounding and shielding, energy work, protection, and open/closed religions and cultures all don't work. Is there any way you could restore them or send them my way?
Hi! Thank you for letting me know, I fixed the grounding and shielding, but I don't actually remember what i had for protection 😅 I will fix it/write a new one when i get the chance!

please share this so people are aware this toy is NOT SAFE.
Please be very very careful when buying toys for your birds, just because its labelled as a bird toy does not make it safe because unfortunately some companies care more about making money than the welfare of our animals.

🛡 Protection bottle 🏺
This is a bottle, or jar, protection spell meant to cast a protective aura around your room, or house. If you do it in a small enough bottle, you can also carry it on your person.
You will need:
🐢Jar or bottle
🐢Salt
🐢Eggshells
🐢Protection herbs (anise, basil, bay, cedar, cloves, garlic, juniper, mugwort, rosemary, sandalwood)
🐢Protection crystal (hematite, obsidian, onyx, black tourmaline)
🐢A protection sigil or charm
🐢Wax/candle to seal the bottle, or a ribbon
Start by casting your protection, this can be done using a circle, sigil, shielding, ward, talisman, whatever you are most comfortable with. Make sure you have everything you'll need inside your space.
If you're using a candle, start by lighting it. Call forth any deities, or entities whose help you wish to ask for to protect you, if you want. This step is not mandatory.
Add the ingredients to your bottle, focusing on each one and how it will add to the spell. For the herbs, you can use any combination of the ones posted in the ingredients list. I recommend only using 2 or 3, but use as many or as little as you are comfortable with and capable of obtaining. Same concept applies to the crystal, though I would only use 1 crystal for this spell (if you're using crystal chips, you can put a few of the same crystal in your jar for the same effect).
If you're using a sigil, put it in the bottle. If you're using a charm, tie it to the neck of the bottle with rope or a ribbon.
Finally, seal your jar! If you used the ribbon, that can be enough to seal it. Otherwise, you can let a small candle melt down on your bottle, drip candle wax from a bigger candle, or use wax melts and pour them over the top.
Close your circle, bid thank you and farewell to the entities, and you have yourself a protection bottle! Place it near the entrance to your room or house, or keep it in your pocket or purse for personal protection.

Hey, folks?
Don't Do This.
This is incredibly rude and unprofessional. They came into my inbox asking about if I do hexes, I explained I wasn't typically comfortable doing them for hire but listened anyway. I mentioned multiple times that I don't work for free. I didn't even specifically request money, just that I wasn't going to shill out my time/materials/energy/expertise for a stranger for nothing in return.
They ghosted me. Five days later I messaged and they blocked me.
Tumblr witches are not your work dogs. We are human beings who spend years developing a craft deeply tied to our spirituality, and you are ordering a commission. Whether it's a full-blown spell or a simple tarot reading, deserve to be treated with the same courtesy you would give any digital artist, commission writer, or other creator on the platform.
If any other makers want the uncensored screenshots so they can avoid dealings with this person, feel free to message me.

do you have any resources about online therapy? I tried googling it but i have a hard time trusting things on google and i'm scared i'll get a scam or something. in person therapy isn't a viable option for me right now and i'm pretty desperate.
Here’s all the online therapy and free therapy I’ve found in my tagged resources. I’ve personally used “Help or Be Helped” and the rest of these have been suggested by various recovery/mental health blogs. Hope you like one of these!
