sleep-deprived architecture student trying to create fanarts, artworks of imaginary characters living inside her head, and write excerpt of stories she’ll probably never publish (maybe, maybe not) — anyway…
POV You cast a silly little magic trick towards Draco Malfoy where three little dragons encircled around him.
It’s actually a revamp version of my artwork from two years ago which will be posted in my IG account together with some of my own artworks + architectural plates. If you wish to see more of my art, just follow the link attached.
I offer to all the art deities (with respect obvs) my OC that I haven’t named yet.
In the process of making this, I am currently having doubts with my artworks and my progress as an artists. Just recently, IG decided to drop yet another algorithm that many users will attempt to beat or at the very least, chase down until artists drop d3ad due to burnouts. I gave up trying to beat IG’s algorithm a long time ago after I got pressured by the expectations of posting art daily just to make my posts relevant. I know that most artists are strong enough to carry the weight of constantly keeping up with the trends etc. but i just can’t.
+ SOME say that it’s just easy to move on and start over to another platform. Sure, moving to another platform is easy BUT starting over again, building up your space, gathering support from followers, and all the necessary steps to start is HARD AF. So, no. It may be easy for those who already have their avid supporters or if they’re already well-known, then I guess it could be easy. But not for starting artists.
I moved to Twitter, Tumblr, and other platforms just to create a space where I feel supported as an artist. I also do commissions from time to time so, a number of followers helps me to reach to many clients as much as possible. These algorithms are a pain in the ass sometimes. For now, I’m trying to draw things that I like rather than please many and constantly have the need to post until i burn myself out.
As u see, i am also having an art style crisis atm. I’m really hating on my progress as an artists right now.
I also dropped the link to my tweet, your girl really needs support. :3
It’s like 5 mins til 1 am here and I’m just dropping by to share this artwork I did for an art study of Lisa’s photo. 🖤💖 So hey,,, em kinda proud of my art skills. 🙃
