While I listened to so many artists who inspired my writing (individual scenes and characters) there were 2 artists who became my go to muses when I needed inspiration: Delain was one of the bands who helped mould my vision. I specifically played "The Human Contradiction" album over and over.
Listening to them, parts of Thea were created and channeled. Thank you.

How Net Neutrality will Recede Post-April 23d, 2018
The Following text is copied from the thread of the official twitter of fightforthefuture.org:
@fightfortheftr (April 19, 2018): There have been a lot of inaccurate reports that the FCC’s repeal of #NetNeutrality will officially go into effect next week on April 23rd. That’s not true. It’s a bit more complicated than that. Ready? Here we go:
Its understandable many journos are confused by this. It’s legitimately confusing. The FCC order said it would go into effect 60 days after publication in the Federal Register, which would have been April 23rd. But, it still has to be approved by the Office of Management & Budget.
There was another FCC filing in the Federal Register that would imply the earliest the OMB could approve this (and its worth noting that approval is basically just a technicality) is actually April 27th, but its likely to happen some time after that, possibly even weeks after.
The most important thing for EVERYONE to understand is that nothing catastrophic or dramatic is going to happen immediately when the FCC rules go into effect. Telecom shills will immediately start saying “See? The sky didn’t fall, we never needed #NetNeutrality.“
They’re lying.
The ISPs aren’t going to immediately start blocking content or rolling out paid prioritization scams. They know Congress and the public are watching them. Rather, the death of #NetNeutrality will be slow and insidious. You might not even notice it at first.
And that’s the worst part. What will happen is over time ISP scams and abuses will become more commonplace and more accepted. They’ll roll out new schemes that appear good on their face but undermine the free market of ideas by allowing ISPs to pick winners and losers.
Over time we’ll see less awesome startups. Less awesome videos. Less diverse online content. And we’ll see more content that our ISPs want us to see. The Internet will be watered down and manipulated. It will change forever in ways that harm our democracy.
But it will take time.
So: don’t fall for ISP lobbyists talking points. They’re ALREADY claiming that #NetNeutrality was never needed since the sky hasn’t fallen, and the rules haven’t even gone into effect. But also don’t panic. The Internet is not going to die next week. Keep calm and keep fighting.
The Senate will vote in a matter of weeks on a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to block the FCC’s repeal. Now is the moment to get engaged.
Everyone: take action at http://BattleForTheNet.com
Small businesses: sign this letter http://BusinessesForNetNeutrality.com
Retweet & spread!

one last thought on The Last Jedi
It’s taken me a while, but I realize now my biggest problem with The Last Jedi is that it’s the first Star Wars movie that makes the universe feel smaller at the end of the movie than it was at the beginning. From start to finish the plot is attritional, taking elements away without adding anything new, much less expanding in the seemingly exponential fashion of so many of the previous films. It ends with a guy trying to break into a garage, basically. That’s how it feels.

All of this!

“You shouldn’t cosplay a character unless you fit the body type”.
Have you ever heard that? Has anyone ever said that to you? Oftentimes, fans will come up to me & ask my opinion of this very question. Other cosplayers are also very opinionated, whether it be good or bad. As The Advocate for Cospositivity, Body Positivity, & Acceptance in this community, I feel that it’s important to address this. I have always struggled with my weight. I wanted to cosplay for years & was terrified because I wasn’t the “right body type”. I was afraid of people tearing me apart & shaming me for what I looked like. I had no confidence. And, there was ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IN THE COMMUNITY WHO ADVOCATED FOR ACCEPTANCE. No one. It took a lot for me to muster the courage to cosplay, & even more to learn to love myself & realize that I didn’t have to fit the characters body type. The costume pictured is one of my first costumes I made and one of the first I cosplayed. I was terrified, but then realized that I am wearing my art in a way that only I can. So what if characters aren’t drawn like me? It’s about my love and expression for the characters that I love. Cosplay is about having fun. It’s costume + play. There is NO REASON to develop an elitist mentality & say that only certain body types can cosplay certain characters. That is a toxic mentality to have & there is zero room in this community for that. When did people get appointed to be the cosplay police? Cosplay who you want & how you want. Love & celebrate your body & the skin you’re in. It doesn’t matter if you are tall short, big, small, super muscular, thin, fluffy, or anything in between. You can be whoever you want to be. Own the character. Most importantly have fun, and do yourself a favor and love yourself. There is only one of you in this whole world, and there will only ever be one of you. Celebrate that.
