Salmonids are IMPORTANT

Once again, Splatoon has posted a picture on media, and this one is slightly spicy!!!

HAVE A GREAT 2020. At first glance, that is all it says, but look closer, and you will see something else.

SOS - Save Our Salmons. This could mean that Salmonids are in danger, but from what? Extinction? That is a reasonable theory, understanding how many we’ve killed, but it’s hard to say. My personal theory this that they are being controlled by Mr. Grizz, and want to be freed. Whatever the case, Salmonids will have some significance in Splatoon 3, I am sure of that. Splatoon 3: A Story of Chaos

I have been working on a story for the Chaos side of my previous theory, using my own characters to tell the story. The story takes place after Team Chaos wins the Splatfest, and focuses on the Salmonids, Mr. Grizz, The New Squidbeak Splatoon, and DJ Octavio.

It will be a more imaginative version of the story mode I came up with, so I hope it will be engaging for you. Please pardon my story writing, because I have the ideas, I just don’t know how to express them properly.

Splatoon 3 Theory Addon

So the Splatoon US has released all that I need for the previous theory. Here is what it said about all the character I talked about in my previous post.

Mr. Grizz is the only ‘villain’ on the neutral team. The way he speaks is offputting. He is making it sound like nothing is wrong. But oddly enough, he states that “The sea answers all questions.” This post also states that “No matter what fate may await the world, the sea watches silently, biding its time.” This post hints that Mr. Grizz has forces under his control waiting for the fate of the FinalFest. He is the middleman, waiting to choose a side.

Salmonids are self-explanatory. Chaos all the way. But Mr. Grizz’s post states that the sea is waiting and watching. They could be under his control, which is a common theory. More about that here.

Odd that Octarians are Team Order, but Octavio is Team Chaos. Anyway, the Octarians are dead set on taking over the surface, stating “The light that was denied us will be ours.” They would do anything to get the surface. ‘It must be seized.’ I would also like to note that the Octolings aren’t part of this, but more on that at the end.

Honestly, with Li’l Judd here, we don’t get information about DJ Octavio, meaning we really have nothing to go off of. But there is one line, ‘their desire to step out of the shadows and into the light’, meaning that Octavio does also want the surface. (Side note: Li’l Judd just wants to take over Judd’s job.)

While everyone knows that Tartar has evil intentions, everyone says that C.Q. Cumber isn’t intentionally bad. But this ends that once and for all. It not only groups them together but the post says a lot about them. “These failed prototypes, endlessly warring for turf...” clearly speaking about the Inklings and Octolings that spend their days playing turf wars and other competitions endlessly. Tartar has always looked down on them, but C.Q. Cumber too? It also adds ‘These two likely have their own options on that subject, and they probably don’t include the words “free” or “will.” This proves that both are equally evil and want to make a society full of order.

These posts strengthen my theory further. I still believe the endings I stated in my previous post are accurate. But there is still one last detail to discuss. The Octolings.

They are the only major group (other than Inklings) not represented in the art for FinalFest. The Octolings. We did get Marina and Agent 8, but they were no longer working for Octavio. The Inklings don’t matter as much, because they are just your generic citizen, and never opposed the story. The Octolings were not grouped with DJ Octavio or the Octarians. I believe that they have finally broken free from the control of Octavio, and have been accepted into Inkling society, and will no longer be a threat. And if Octavio joins forces with the New Squidbeak Splatoon, then we will finally have more room for new villains.

As for Sanitized Octolings, I just don’t know. I would like to hope there is a way to undo it and return them back to normal, but it’s really unlikely. Be sure to check out the original post! My Splatoon 3 Theory

So, I had this theory running about the ending of Splatoon 2. Everyone will remember that Marie won the final Splatfest in Splatoon, which decided the outcome of the Hero Campaign in Splatoon 2, and the final Splatfest for Splatoon 2 is Chaos vs. Order.

Now, I think that this battle will decide the story mode in Splatoon 3, and this one is going to be good. I have always had a theory about Grizzco and Kamabo working together. (If you want to see that theory, I will post it sometime in the future) But anyway, back onto the theory.

On team Chaos, we can see that we have DJ Octavio, which is not a big surprise, but I don’t think that he will be the antagonist this time around. What we do have on this side are Salmonids. This whole time, you have been killing millions of Salmonids, and there hasn’t been any retaliation from them, they just keep getting slaughtered. If Chaos wins, Salmonids will become violent, and invade the mainland, roaming the streets of Inkopolis in the millions, and sending the boss Salmonids to destroy anything in their way. (The Splatfest is called Splatocalypse after all) Your job as an agent, is to team up with the entire New Squidbeak Splatoon and Octavio to eradicate the Salmonids once and for all, saving all of Inkopolis from the same fate the humans suffered. Mr. Grizz is partially to blame for this incident, and will strangely disappear after the events of singleplayer.

On team Order, we have shopkeepers, and a majority of the New Squidbeak Splatoon. But the main focus is on C. Q. Cumber, and Tartar. In helping out Grizzco, you have in turn been supplying Kamabo with weapons of mass destruction. Now, the inclusion of Tartar is interesting. Anyone who has played the Octo Expansion will know that Tartar is blown up at the end, and he should be long gone, but he is included in the art. I have a feeling you never actually killed him. If Order wins, C. Q. Cumber, Tartar and Mr. Grizz will make a huge attack on Inkopolis ordering for a surrender. After the eventual surrender, Kamabo enslaves the Inklings and Octolings to do their bidding, and it seems that not all of them survive. Tartar could still be trying to create the perfect race. Your job as an agent, is to team up with the entire New Squidbeak Splatoon and Octavio so you can free Inkopolis from Kamabo, and defeat Tartar once and for all. (For real this time) Mr. Grizz closes up business, and is no longer seen.

But you’ll notice, Mr. Grizz isn’t on any one side, he is in the middle between Chaos and Order. Mr. Grizz will be the antagonist of Splatoon 3 whichever side is chosen. He will either assist in releasing the horde of Salmonids, or lead the attack with Tartar and C. Q. Cumber. Mr. Grizz has always had evil intentions from the very beginning.

This Finalfest will ultimately decide the singleplayer for Splatoon 3, and either way I look at it, Splatoon 3 is going to have a great story. If you’re asking which team is the best team to decide, the choice is yours, but as for me, Order could be so much cooler! May the best team win, and I’ll be looking forward for Splatoon 3!

another virus is going around

i just got home and saw a message from a mutual i’ve never talked to, about a birthday gift. DONT CLICK ON THE LINK. i haven’t so i don’t know what it does, but i’ve heard it logs you out and sends you to a fake tumblr to take your information. it’s a hack. and it fucks up your computer/laptop/phone/device.

this is what the message looks like, and if you click the link, it sends it to every single one of your mutuals (or possibly ALL THE PEOPLE THAT FOLLOW YOU)
