Aight! I'ma finally put my rules here!

[Guidelines]

I mostly write with reader inserts as they are the ones I am more familiar with! I may write something else but I will inform if it is.

Gender neutral readers are my way to go! so that everyone can enjoy these (But I can write for specific genders if requested)

I can write for aus but at the moment I will only write for my own au! Digital roommates

Angst, Fluff, Yandere and platonic as well as romantic

My blacklist is fairly standard with a bunch of NSFW or MAJORLY cursed stuff not allowed (Pedophilia *All fics with the self insert being a minor will ALWAYS be platonic!*, incest, scat, etc etc)

The Digital Roommates info

When the gang finally finds a exit, they didn't return back to their old lives no, merely they stayed in their digital bodies despite being out in the real world, with no other choice, they live with the reader (Aka you), the one who freed them to finally experience a normalish life after years inside the circus, with the reader being kind enough to lend some of them their old clothes.

Height comparison

Alongside still being able to enter the digital plane whenever they please, they can enter any electronic devices such an apple watch or phone and use them as portals, Their sizes changes depending on the size of the device they come out from.

Life certainly is quite weird in giving you these fellas but hey, now you got a second family now living in your home!

Yes the story will get some updates, I may be able to write a chapter or two before the end of the year!

I am also gonna take this time to apologize for my sudden disapearance as christmas break just started for me from college but now that I have time I should be able to do more stuff, like I am currently sketching the characters references and such!

after a minute, Caine pushed out a small figure out of the monitor, it was gray and wearing a small pair of sunglasses as it wobbles up to stand and stares at the reader

“Uhh, Caine, what is this?”

“THIS IS WHAT WE CALL AN ANON MY SUPERSTAR!!! THERE ARE MORE TO COME BUT FOR NOW THIS LITTLE ONE HAS AN ASK FOR YOU!!!”

The figure hummed as it stares at the Anon

“Well alright then, Go ahead and ask me away… before more of you comes here”

a few thoughts:

1: With video games, the gang can enter the world of the game if it is a multiplayer game, or like a party game or something, and if it's a game like Minecraft or animal crossing they get an avatar that looks like them, while if they have pre existing characters like Mario kart then they either replace the character and are wearing their outfit, or they have some kind of indicator show up on them like the captures in Mario Odyssey. If it's a game where it doesn't make sense for them to be there, like a point and click game or something, then maybe they get a theatre and a controller, like that one anon suggested, or they can just wander around the game world without actively interacting with things or something. Or they can like, drag the mouse around with their hands and do stuff that way. Once they reach the max amount of players for a game, they become spectators, either joining as a background npc or crowd member or something, or if that doesn't make sense in the game universe then they get a theatre. So if the reader was playing Pokemon scarlet one of the random NPCs in a town would be replaced by them, and in the wilderness they either go to the theater or take the place of a pokemon that can't be battled while they are the Pokemon. In splatoon they could be a jellyfish ig. In a game like the original subnautica where isolation is the point they probably couldn't join the game at all.

2: maybe with the readers app thing, they could select areas and do stuff. Like how you can tell a Roomba to clean a specific area of your house? The reader could set up an area and while they're there they don't get teleported unless they want to, so if they don't want to go with the reader they can just stay home. The reader goes to the store and comes back to them having cleaned the house and made them a pie or something. Maybe they can set up an area that they can't go inside of without permission to keep them out of private areas, or so they can't mess with stuff while the reader works, or something like that.

3: if they are going insane about like, cheap ramen or something, id imagine if the reader knows how to cook they'd immediately be like "I am going to make the best meal these people have ever had" and saves up money to make a nice meal for them, and if they can't cook they just take them to a really nice restaurant, or get food from a relative or something. I'd take them to a good bakery and get them some sweet empanadas and cookies :)

Yes they can basically choose whether to join the reader's character in game where their looks will change to match that game's artstyle, they aren't counted as players as the games does no recognize them as such so there is no player limit

3.They would love that, I HC that the food in the digital world isn't exactly bland but there is like a hint of flavour there so it's like having a tastebud bomb when they taste the real world foods

couldn't the gang theoretically go back into the game for a bit and have Caine change them to look human so they can walk around in public?

Caine has no control over their overall appearance, he can only repair them and change their outfits whilst they are in the game

I just thought something funny, the gang except for kinger played getting over it, I can only imagine the anger of starting over wherever you fell to can even affect nice people like ragatha and Gangle that they rage quit, when kinger played it he managed to beat the game in one go, shocking everyone.

At this point the reader would just laugh their ass off (After pulling Jax and Zooble away because they are literally one step away from throwing their monitor out the window) Gangle and Ragatha fuming in the background whilst Pomni is trying to contain her rage by chewing on a stress ball all the while Kinger is just standing there confused.

Are ya doing requests? Maybe s/o (crush) that looves to dance? Like, any type of dance (for Jax, Gangle and Kinger) it's help them to stay sane and makes them happy

For example Eastern dance, waltz, hip hop and slow dance? like, sometimes at night they go out into the common corridor and dance a waltz with a mop, or a slow dance, or a belly dance, and then when they see a character, they smilingly offer to join?

(Man I post so much of My au that I forgot that I also do writing to oneshots and stuff) (yes requests are openish but please wait for the rules that I'll do later or soon, depending on my schedule)

Dance the abstraction away

Ever since you've been trapped in this digital circus, you have to do things to keep your mind sane enough to avoid abstraction as the last thing you ever want to lose your sense of self in this seemingly never ending digital life.

So you dance.

It doesn't matter what type of dance, it could be a calm waltz, an upbeat hip hop or even just random movements. It was something that kept your mind busy and it is also something you enjoy, sometimes you even hum alongside your dancing as you imagine yourself in different scenarios with each dance.

The others seem to enjoy to watch you dance, hell Caine even had one adventure dedicated to the gang having to dance alongside you with increasing difficulty that you had to help them dance.

But whenever you have your free time, you find yourself always drawn to dancing in the empty halls, sometimes you see one of your friends and invite them into your dance with an extended hand.

Jax

"Gee sweetcheeks you acting crazy dancing alone in this hall, if I haven't known better I would have thought you were on the verge of abstracting"

He stood there with his arms crossed as you pause in the middle of your waltz with a mop, Jax has always been someone who would comment on your dances with a tease, whether that be like what he said earlier or joke about you scaring the crap out of Kinger whenever he spots you dancing.

You merely respond with a chuckle as you held your hand out to him, since he is already there, why not have a little dance now huh?

Your invitation seem to catch him off guard as his pupils turn into small squares before he regains his composure

"And you expect me to just join you dancing creepily with no music?"

It doesn't have to be with no music, you can hum while you dance!

You spot his cheeks tinge with a bit of dark purple as he looks around before sighing and taking your hand

"Fine but you better not tell anyone bout this or I'll place centipedes in your room"

You guide him through this waltz as the two of you slowly spin as you two held each other's hands, his faint dark purple blush eventually disappearing as he becomes more bold, taking the lead as the waltz, spinning and twirling you around before eventually ending it with dipping you with his face leaning close to yours....

Before he casually drops you on the ground.

"Yer lucky that I like you enough to not drop you while we were spinning"

Gangle

"Wow.. you're so good with dancing..."

Your belly dance came to a sudden stop as you hear the familiar soft voice of Gangle, who stood there whilst fiddling with her ribbon hands, she always seems mesmerized by your dances, you are sure that she often watches you for a while now and you have caught her multiple times watching you but often times she gets scared and ran off before you can approach her.

This time however seems to be your chance as you offer your hand to her, which received a gasp from her as she fiddles with her hands.

"M-me?! U-umm, I don't know... I don't know how to dance.."

Its ok, she can just follow your movements! there's no need to know how to dance like a professional after all, you dance to have fun and entertain yourself.

She stood there as she looks around the hall to make sure that no one is watching before she slowly approach you and wrap her hand around yours gently

"O-ok, I'll try to dance with you"

That's the spirit

You take her into your dance as you sway your hips slowly and fluid like to an make up music as you hum a soft tune, being made out a ribbons, Gangle have a hard time trying to follow your movements exactly as you move, before long her entire body seem to wrap around you like a snake without restricting your movements as you continue your dance with her mask on the side of your head.

It seemed like you were dancing alone but you can feel her still trying to follow along but hey, it seems like she is enjoying it.

Hmm perhaps she can learn ribbon dance with you?

Kinger

"AH! Oh it's just you... what are you doing?"

You jump a bit from your slow dance as Kinger let's out his oh so iconic scream that you are sure he does everyday. Calming down a bit you turn to the king chess piece as he seems to slowly realize

"Oh right! You dance a lot yeah? You sure know how to dance even when alone"

Well at least he still remembers that you dance a lot, knowing how long he has been in this digital world, you see it as a miracle he can still think somewhat alright for someone who is stuck here for who knows how long.

Seeing an opportunity you extend your hand to him to invite him in

"Hmm? You want me to join you dance? Why sure! I can't remember the last time I danced!"

Well he seems happy so that's good!

He takes your hand before he bows, well isn't he just a gentleman? Soon the two of you were dancing in silence in the halls, with your hands on his shoulder and his on your hips as he surprisingly dance quite well! swaying alongside side you.

His movement suggest that he seems to know how to dance!

"..it was like with her"

Huh?

"Huh? Ah!"

He was brought out of his trance state as he jumps back a bit

"Oh it was just you... Sorry what were we doing again?" You sigh, well at least the two of you were able dance for a bit

But you still wondered about what he meant by her?

with the whole "they don't snoop through the readers stuff" thing, maybe once the reader accepts the terms and conditions they just get an app which is like a parental controls thingy. Where it's like, oh you can't mess with [xyz] apps, can't exit technology from [8:05/10:00] and you cannot access [work device] so that they can't do specific things the reader doesnt want them to do.

Ohh I actually like that concept

Maybe the reader would ask Caine for that system because no matter how closely guarded their phone is, Jax would somehow get in and probably snoop over to their pms

I've had this question on my mind for a little while now what's the gang's favorite foods?

Pomni- Salmon

Ragatha- Any sweet baked goods

Jax- He likes mash potatoes (Tho he just uses it for a projectile sometimes)

Zooble- Beer-....

Gangle- she has a bit of a sweet tooth so she likes anything sweet but mostly cupcakes

Kinger-... Reader has no idea, they watch him somehow eat a rock and didn't react to it..

I personally wonder if the gang can get drunk and I mean by alcohol

Yes they can get weirdly drunk (Caine has no idea how even), and when they are drunk they tend to glitch a bit but nothing painful they do end up barfing a lot of black fluid after a while

So if they can't be more than 10 feet away from us how would most jobs work? Would they just chill in whatever electronics device we have (barring Jax trying to be a little shit and mess with us and our fellow coworkers without being caught), also makes me think how it would work if had a job that was constantly putting us around other people or in serious situations like a paramedic or firefighter

In most cases they either be chilling inside the reader's phone or just chill inside the reader's pocket as their small sizes, Jax is kept under watch to make sure that he doesn't make it hard for the reader.

If that was the case the gang would most likely just stay inside the reader's phone especially in serious situations.
